  1. If you want an Abbadabbado, there's a grrat deal on a Premier in the Flea Market. 8-)
  2. Hmm... I only respool "as needed". Your line didn't get old after a few months on the reel. Brands will vary, mine don't. 8-)
  3. The Bassmaster Classic Sale starts today!
  4. You didn't goff, the thread is about line. Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 = 11.9 lb breaking strength #8 = 12 lb breaking strength #12 = 19.5 http://www.yo-zuri.com/Products/ProdLine/HybridLineChart.htm 8-)
  5. We don't know...We couldn't see over that pucky thing. :-*
  6. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  7. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  8. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  9. Well, we have all bought stuff we thought "might work". One of the many attributes of the Forum is getting solid advice from guys sharing "what works!" Ask around and I think you will find a lot of Rage Tail fans. Many of Big O's baits are cutting edge, not just copies of someone else's baits. 8-)
  10. Just buy one bag at a time...Maybe start with the Smokin' Rooster? Keep the baits in their original package and store them in a drawer or closet in the house (out of the sun and at a relatively constant temperature). Rage Tail plastics will last indefinitely if you don't use them! 8-)
  11. Perfect in every way! http://www.cabelas.com/p-0011837010576a.shtml 8-)
  12. Welcome aboard! I see now, "a cop from Florida", that changes things. We have had a recent incident with a member that was an active seller on our Flea Market which has nothing to do with you. I will remove my posts from that section. BTW, we have several other guys involved in law enforcement. Again... Welcome aboard! -Kent
  13. I have had good luck with both the Mattlures Baby Bass and Shad. 8-)
  14. However, my biggest fish have come on a Spook.
  15. We catch a number of big cats, drum, buffalo and striper while smallmouth fishing on the Tennessee River. Our smallmouth rigs are MF spinning rods, 2500 series Shimano and Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6. However, if you target monster cats, you really need heavy gear, especially on a river. Quantum Big Cat Series is something to consider: http://www.bigtackle.com/Quantum-Big-Cat-Series-P293.aspx 8-)

  17. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  18. Try this: Allow the spinnerbait to fall to the bottom. Lift the lure with your rod from water level to 12:00, then let it fall on slack line. The spinnerbait will flutter straight down as if it were dying, not forward. Repeat until you feel you are out of the zone. 8-)
  19. Try some JJ's Magic instead: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/bass-fishing-jjs-magic.html 8-)
  20. I have had great success with the jig and like them a lot! As a matter-of-fact, this is the only 3/8 oz jig and jig head (Shake2) that I use. For heavier jigs (1/2 and 3/4 oz) I like GMAN custom jigs: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/ 8-)
  21. I like the hat...Seriously...I think I might buy it! 8-)
  22. Good luck! I hope you have a very successful tournament. ;D ;D ;D
