  1. C'mon...Peyton's pulling down $20mm+/yr with endorsements for at least the next 5 years. If he needed a $100mm he could borrow it with just his signature! Threats? Ya think President Obama would take his call? How 'bout the Governors of Indiana, Tennessee and Louisiana? At least six Senators, a handful of Congressmen, U.S. Attorney General and the Director of the FBI? Ridiculous...
  2. Well, if the Feds are going to spend a wad of dough, the solution is simple: $100 per fish will kill every single carp in the river system! 8-)
  3. Geez...more voodoo... Therapeutic use of ozone is not endorsed by health authorities or medical associations in any English speaking country, and most US states prohibit the marketing of ozone generators, its medical use, and even research and clinical trials of ozone therapy, so that doctors risk losing their medical licenses by administering or prescribing ozone therapies. There is anecdotal evidence of ozone therapy having caused remission in a variety of diseases, but only a few of these life saving administrations have been verified. :
  4. Here's the latest development: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/08/feds-commit-million-fight-asian-carp-midwest-waterways/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%253A+foxnews%252Fpolitics+%2528Text+-+Politics%2529
  5. This is the first I ever heard of them, but some other members will probably have the scoop. We'll see shortly.
  6. Maybe this will help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1141187546 Specifically: Technique specific rods are for "enthusiasts". Almost all your fishing can be done with just one rod. Beyond that, you only "need" three rods: Spinning: 6 1/2' or 7', M or MH, Fast Action (soft plastics and light lures) Baitcasting: MH or H, Fast Action (jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and all single hooks) Baitcasting: MH, Moderate Action (all treble hook lures) 8-)

Questions about the Senko? We might have the answer: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1121527643 You will find the Senko sticky in the top portion of this section. Good luck! 8-)
  8. It's busted and can't be fixed? Just a guess. :
  9. First of all, replace hooks, don't sharpen them. Second, I think red hooks are worthless. This fad was nothing more than a marketing ploy. 8-)
  10. Something is defective on that particular reel. The Curado 200E7 is comparable in every way to the highest priced Shimanos. At the pricing point, I thnk it is the best reel on the market. Unfortunately, you have a dud.
  11. Which size are you using on your drop shot rig?
  12. Smallmouth: 12 lbs 4 oz ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  13. Fishing Pickwick at night requires some planning and caution. There are a number of boat ramps that reduce motoring distances dramatically, but there are still dangers. 8-)
  14. Memphis closed down again this morning, without any warning! The National Weather Service did not issue a winter storm alert until the blizzard hit. Unbelievable... >
  15. Hmm... I've seen a lot of silly topics over the years, but this ranks #1. Did someone suggest that Peyton Manning could be "bought"? Simply ridiculous. :-X

  21. Undoubtedly a hoax...Legitimate research does not start with field tests on horses and dogs. The next step is not from dog to human or straight to human "volunteers". I bet the extract is nothing more than fruit juice and will be sold to desperate people through the black market. >
  22. CONGRATULATIONS! Who 'Dat Nation! Who 'dat? Who 'dat? Who 'dat?
