  1. I was thinking about getting one of those. I've heard that they're as good as the Yetis.
  2. I love my Pond Prowler. I had a 1436 Jon boat before that and the Pond Prowler is much more stable when standing and fishing. I couldn’t stand and fish in the Jon but a Jon boat is more roomy with 2 people fishing in it though.
  3. The ups store charged me 40 to ship one insured from Virginia to Washington state.
  4. I would look at the Tatula CT. Better than the 3 reels on your list in my opinion. Whoops, I missed the part about not recommending other brands.
  5. Mojo bass is better than the bass X. Daiwa tatula is a fine rod that can be found for around 100 if you shop around.
  6. I find the vision 110s to be worth the money. My jerkbait catch has went up ever since I switched from SK.
  7. Maybe so. I thought maybe they were sending random people free reels. Lol ?
  8. Ok thanks a lot. I called Lews and the girl on the phone was surprised as me and said she was going to investigate it.
  9. Ok. I just received an email from stamps. Com saying Lews fishing has sent me a package. I didn't order anything and I've never bought a Lews product in my life and I find this really strange. Has this ever happened to anyone on here before?
  10. Sounds like you might have gotten a bad spool maybe. Try some line conditioner. P-line tactical is the best handling fluorocarbon I've used and I've tried a lot of them. A close second would be Sunline Assassin.
  11. Have you tried casting with that line yet? I use 12 lb P-line tactical on most of my reels and I get fewer backlashes than any other fluorocarbon I've tried and I don't use line conditioner.
  12. It’s just 3/4 inch plywood. It’s really sturdy for now as I just recently built it but I’ve been thinking I should probably put some type of support underneath it. I can jump up and down on it like it is and it doesn’t move but I’m afraid it might weaken in time.
  13. I have an Ex6 rod. It’s an okay rod but you can find much better in that price range. You’re mostly paying for the G Loomis name and the warranty.
  14. 7” Tequila Sunrise power worm
  15. P-line CXX has a lot of memory. Try some CX, that should cast a lot better for you. I use P-line CX and tactical fluorocarbon and they both cast just as good as trilene XL
  16. You can get a regular Tatula rod for 100. I've seen xt's for as low as 75.
  17. I use a Tatula 7' medium regular which is a moderate fast. I really like it for fishing traps. It can be found for around 100 bucks if you look around.
  18. Thanks for all the replies. I went ahead and ordered the Zillion. It seemed like too good of a deal to pass up. Maybe I will get an Avid X in the near future.
  19. I’ll have to check out the Kistler. Thanks Yeah, it sounds like too good of a deal to pass up.
  20. That’s the 7” version. The OP is looking at the 9.
  21. I don’t care about the hook keeper. I don’t use them, I always put the hooks on the reel.
  22. I found a website called Tactical Wholesalers that has a 6’ 6 medium listed at 145.26.I’ve never ordered from them though
  23. I'm looking at these 3 casting rods in medium power for throwing 3/16 to 1/4 ounce T rig plastics. I currently use a Loomis E6x mh/xf but I find it lacking in sensitivity for bottom contact baits. The Zillion is the best priced rod at 145 dollars.
  24. Tackle warehouse has all kinds of fishing shirts. I've ordered some off of ebay as well.
