I used it last year in 10lb. I am still not totally decided on it yet. The few backlashes I got were difficult to deal with as opposed to mono. But I think it does cast nice and seems to be strong..

I have used suffix for my centerpin reel and my steelhead baitcaster with zero issues.....

I have always found fishing to be relaxing and a way to put work (law enforcement) behind me for a while. Whether it is stalking a brookie stream or just wetting a line it has always been a tension reliever for me. As I near retirement I have started to find the joys of focusing on bass fishing and putting more legitimate time into actually trying for bass...

Gambler Lures has a punch kit on their site. Looked like a pretty good deal. I bought a kit from them a year or so ago and it was great.

When I musky fished I had a nice net but hated the bag itself. I was able to order the Beckman bag and just replace it. Way cheaper than buying a whole new system...I replace my steelhead wading net bag too, easy on and off.

I have a short handled Frabill net for my kayak but haven't had a chance to use it yet. It got some good reviews on youtube fisherman I follow. Not sure on a long handled net tho..

Those bulldawgs are killer for muskies....They make a smaller one that my buddy has caught a few pig bass on...

Poppers are probably the funniest. Closers and gurglers are classics as well as hoppers on rivers. I like stripping streamers in craft fur or rabbit strips.

Impressive exchange between you guys and I am glad you put it out here for all of us to see...Especially as I am a newer bass angler and live close to 12lbr we probably fish some of the same lakes..

I don't pour my own jig heads and really have no plans to do so. I am looking for jig heads to tie up a variety of jigs and want to put a weed guard on it. Where can I get bass jigs that are tapped for a weed guard and install it after I tie up the jig..??
