4/0 Heavy EWG hook. Keeps the bait down in the water column. Twist locks at 4/0 work too. They can also be nose hooked.

What's your favorite way to fish plastics?
I love fishing weightless, with a heavy wire hook. Super Flukes are tough to beat.

Washington State fishing
No, but I did go to www.governor.wa.gov and sent a note to Inslee about being able to fish and keep social distancing. Makes no sense I can go boating, but not fish?????

Braid For Deep Cranking
I tried braid for deep cranking and did not like it as much as using 10-12 lb flouro (Invisx). I retain sensitivity and flouro sinks.

What's the difference in Tatula and Tatula xt rods?
Agree with LonnieP, the Tatula has a lighter more sensitive blank. You could buy a combination of rods, Tatula for bottom contact and XTs for cranks, spinnerbaits, etc.

I got 99", missed 100 by 1. - Jay Z
Fantastic. I like the Tatula rods a little better, but not by much. I have the 7’1” Tatula Heavy I use for jigs, great rod, very light and sensitive. The 7’6” XT HF I use for flipping and punching for the most part.
