Never check a battery voltage while a charger is connected and powered up....what you're checking is how much the charger is sending to the battery.

Quite a number of reels can handle that weight range easily - it's the rod you'll have an issue finding.

Considering I didn't get out much last year, I didn't use much. No need for restocking here....which is good cause I got no money to do so.

If it ain't braid - it gets the KVD treatment.

For me it's more about the affordability - $8 for 9 Rage Bugs or $5 for 15 Tiny Brush Hogs....no contest.

Just go with the Fuego CT - only thing the Tatula CT has over the Fuego is the T-Wing system....those extra two bearings are in the handle...just makes the paddles spin freer, doesn't affect the actual reel function.

It's been variable with Plano....some boxes have always had a dearth of dividers, others had a huge surplus. And of course they don't offer additional dividers for sale...which would make sense.

Some do....I don't. I looked at what they give you for it...and it's a trade-in for the rods they have in stock...you have to buy a new rod to get the 'money'. I can sell rods on FB-Marketplace or Next-Door for way more than what they give in trade-in value...so not worth the trip IMO.

I have both the President XT and Fuego CT - get the Fuego.

I'm a great believer in selective harvest as promoted by Al Lindner. So yes, I harvest bass in a certain size range for eating....I like them.

That's what I love about a smaller motor...I just lift the 25hp off the boat to a dolly and wheel it into the heated basement. Covered tub with drain on a valve so it gets water flow, exhaust fan in the window and I can run it in there and do what maintenance it needs.
