I picked up 4 reels from Digitaka this past winter - all were in my hands within 3 days of my ordering them...free shipping, no tax.

My Problem With YouTube Fishing Videos...
Nothing - he's just getting older and the loss of his brother Ron hit him hard. He's still in vids, still writing articles...just slowly backing off, handing the reins to his son Troy and Ron's son James.

St Croix Victory 7’3 H/XF for frogging?
Ok - if the link works, here's the full charts for the Victory rods...they posted it on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/StCroixRod As I said as well, works for the Mojo Bass line as well - the power/actions are pretty much the same between the two lines.

weighted wacky hooks.
I've got Reaction Tackle Tungsten wacky jigs in 1/16 and 1/8 - regular and weedless (so four choices) to increase the fall rate. Some stick worms give more action if the fall rate rises.

St Croix Victory 7’3 H/XF for frogging?
They published them soon after the introduction of the Victory line - I forget exactly where I got them. Wish they'd do it for their other lines too - but the Mojo Bass line lines up well enough with the Victory that you can use the same charts.

St Croix Victory 7’3 H/XF for frogging?
Actually - St Croix DOES recommend the 7'3" H/XF for frogging...set of charts came out that shows their recommended techniques with each rod. Here's page 2. Note the 7'4" H/F also works for frogs, but the H/XF has more 'usages' for cover work.

Show your ride...
Ya - but mine is only an extended cab with the 6.5' box behind it. I can put 8' long lumber or aluminum cross-wise in the bed and close the hatch. Rear 'seat' was removed to turn the back part of the cab into cargo room...'suicide doors'.

Post a photo a day!
I think all of us in the snow-belt are ready for it.

Show your ride...
A shot from the stern camera of the F-9 and tow vehicle. 6-1/2' bed in the Siverado....ya, I could put a cot in there...if I could take a long trip.

Time to re-spool all my stuff for the year.
Same stuff I use for backing my spinning reels - $6.50 at Fleet Farm with free shipping. I use Big Game to back my casting reels - $12 for the 1/4lb spool at FF.

Wind Gust
600 Acres with wind isn't too terrible. As Tom said, launch on the upwind side - or as close as possible. Even small boats can take waves if you're careful. My old 14' Runabout with a 40hp took on some 3' waves getting back to the launch when the wind came up suddenly one time...handled it just fine and bilge pump kept up with the water occasionally washing over the gunwales. (Not my old boat, but identical) BUT as Glenn said, if you're fighting the waves more than you're fishing....time to get off the water.

My Problem With YouTube Fishing Videos...
They post the episodes to their You-Tube a bit after they air - https://www.youtube.com/@LindnerMedia Ya- I got mine set to auto-renew...then I don't forget. They also have the issues available through an App on your phone/tablet.

My Problem With YouTube Fishing Videos...
Last vid he put up was a shortie - but I said 'Hi' in a comment and he seemed pleased to have someone from BR do that. Paul also joined in a couple of the Zoom meetings we had during the 20-21 winter.

My Problem With YouTube Fishing Videos...
Gotta start a '60's Rockin' Group' - I know @A-Jay belongs - he's three months older than I am. I like the older Lindner Brothers and Babe Winkleman films....probably cause they're from here. @volzfan59 beats me by 2 months. #borninfiftynine (ya, stealing it)

Which Rod would you keep…
That's me - of my 10 casting rods, 4 are basically MH/F rods...allocated for different things though. As the MH/F is considered the 'Swiss Army Knife' of rods, having more than one isn't a detriment IMO.

Transom tie downs
Rebuilding the trailer, when I set the bow-stop and mounted the bunks, I purposefully made it so that the transom is supported on the bunks (no overhang), and the rear trailer cross-brace was about 2" forward of the transom...so snugging it down makes the boat want to go forward on the trailer.

Transom tie downs
Ya, I use standard ratchet straps with hooked ends...I cut the excess strap off so there's not a lot 'dangling'. Takes about 1/2 a minute to snug down the boat - less to take them off. Never get wet as they get tossed in the back of the truck when they're not holding the boat down.
