  1. Ya - disturbing someone else's trap is a BIG no-no anywhere I know of.
  2. It still urks me that they use a totally debunked thing like Polygraphs for this....you can't use them in court cases, how come the tournaments can get away with calling it fair?
  3. If they not going after the moving baits (spinners/chatters/swim jigs/etc) - then go finesse (DS/Ned/Shakey, etc)
  4. ^ Long as they're legal for bait - can't use them in MN.
  5. Luckily I haven't 'torn down' my spinning rigs yet....they're saying upper-50s on Wednesday, which is good enough for shore fishing....MIGHT get one more outing this year.
  6. Mine all came greased - but better to check anyway....it's not hard to take the side-plate off for a look-see.

Which tyoe? Red: Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Red Zinfandel, Grenache - something else? White: Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay - other? Come on man - can't just say "Wine" - there's so many varieties and it does make a difference And lets not forget the Blush wines either.
  8. I think you'll be happy - I've got 4 of the Tatula 100's in my arsenal and I've been happy with them the past few years.
  9. "I'll pick Door #2, Monty."
  10. ^ True that - and just like MN, IA doesn't let you return the unused portion to the water...have to dump/preserve them. (Just looked that up)
  11. ^ To each their own, Tom. I would have (and did) gone with the St Croix Panfish 7'3" ML/XF for the same price as the Eagle. The Victory at that price is a steal.
  12. ^ ? You're just using what they hunt anyway, and giving them a bit easier time of it. Around here it's almost a tradition to catch your own bait.
  13. Love the old trailer than came with my Alumacraft....has built-in, welded-on supports for a platform
  14. ^ Ya - but Minnesota has regs on how many, spacing, what size (mesh and opening size as well as overall size)....so while legal, the laws vary on details. There's also regs on use of the caught bait. Can only be used in the waters in which they're caught, and when you're done for the day, they have to be tossed or preserved (alcohol, freezing)...no returning them to the water.
  15. 8# Revolve to 6# InvizX leader for all my DS applications.
  16. Bingo. Reel and Rod maintenance, Line change-outs (for other than braid), review what worked, what didn't and plan shore backpack lures/plastics for next year, look for other possible shore sites. This winter I'll also be doing final preps for selling Bass Trek. With the terminal diagnosis, I don't want to leave the wife with having to take care of that issue.
  17. ^ Most likely why Glenn hasn't posted 'The naughty list' as then spammers could find a work-around.

    Rotisserie!
  19. Various keywords, certain links - there's no list, so it's a hit-or-miss situation. I get hit with it occasionally too - latest was a couple days ago.
  20. General use, I'm on either Sufix 832 in Lo-Vis Green or (when I can afford it) Seaguar Smackdown in Stealth Gray Only time I use hi-vis braid is for finesse where you have to watch the line...which is becoming less frequent as with a good-sensitive braid and FC leader, you'll more feel it than see it. In that case it's Sufix 832 in Hi-Vis Yellow or Sufix Revolve in Neon Lime.
  21. I use 12# InvisX for jerking - but if I wanted to go to braid for jerks - Smackdown, Lime Green, 15# is what I'd pick
  22. ^ Like Katie - it'll be April (maybe even May) before I have a chance to cast a line again. Winter is giving us warnings (flurries Halloween eve maybe) so I've started dismantling my rigs for winter storage.
  23. Welcome from the garden state of Minne-snow-ta. 😁
  24. You mean the 2nd....never ends on a weekday. Us...high today might hit 50
  25. ^ It's just that there's been a lot more pushback from people who have lots of money invested. Like "You change the name, and I'm selling my shares in the team at rock-bottom." Money over-rides ethics too many bloody times.
