  1. ^ Because the DNR answers to the state, so if the state says "This will happen." the DNR has to implement it. Same thing here and why it took so long to get a year-round C&R season here. DNR said it wouldn't hurt anything, but the idiots above them thought different.

  4. Getting more money from the general state budget. When license sales went up, the amount the Govt gave them went down...now that license sales are down, you think the Govt will give them more money?
  5. Since quite a bit of DNR funding (at least in MN) comes from license sales - the reduction will mean less money for population studies, environmental protection and other things needed to maintain healthy populations.

  12. I back all my reels no matter what the main-line is. 60-70 yds of mainline, fill the rest of the spool with cheap mono.
  13. And make sure your charger is Lithium compatable NOCO Genius 5x1 onboard charger is $60 at Amazon.

  17. Ya - the output of a solar-charger won't keep up with the drain your electronics will put on the system. Add a second battery - and make sure it's the same rating, and preferably the same manufacturer/model, as the one you already have.

  22. I switched out my 705CB for a Victory 7'2" MH/M but I'm still using the same reel. Pfleuger Supreme XT 6.4
