  1. I've got 4# on one of my crappie rigs.
  2. All my cranks are done on either 12# Yo-Zuri Hybrid on my MH/MF rig, or 8# YZH on my M/F rig for anything under 3/8oz.
  3. I notice that you're standing 'out of range' for when Tank makes a splash....hope Lynn doesn't mind getting wet. The Boxer I grew up with did the same thing with the hose-stream.
  4. Spinners and Chatters I run on straight 40# Sufix 832 braid - not even a leader. Bass is going to react to the lure, and since it's moving he's not gonna notice the line.
  5. Could be even earlier Only snow-free month in Minnesota is July. Ya, we're talking the Arrowhead (extreme NE) or up by Lake of the Woods for the snow in June or August...but I've seen snow in September here in the Metro.
  6. I hope you mean the Fury 705CB - the 704 only comes in a fast (704C) I have the FR-705CB and it's been a great crank-rod for the money...and no, I don't consider it over-rated for the lure range.
  7. Ya, mine gets put on just before launch and pulled once it's back on the trailer...so it's never exposed to 'road rash'. Ram Mount...
  8. From my NWS FB Feed - ya, June has been a scorcher. "Yesterday both MSP and St. Cloud hit 101. This was the 67th time going back to 1872 the Twin Cities has hit the century mark, while it was the 59th day for St. Cloud going back to 1894. For MSP, this was the first 100 since Memorial Day 2018 (first in June since 2011) and it was the first 100 at St. Cloud since 2011."
  9. It's a safe bet he wasn't using BFS gear to catch that.
  10. Long as you're not tossing rocks at it, you'll be fine. I didn't bother getting a cover for mine.
  11. Being down in the budget category - balance far surpasses weight for me. Example: My 7' Aird-X MH/F weighs 1.4oz less than my FR 704 - but the Fury is much more balanced..which is why the Fury is my jig/bottom contact rod and the Aird is my moving baits rod. The more balanced Fury makes feeling the bottom and those light strikes easier.
  12. Something cheap or something worth the money? Multimeters are precision instruments - you definitely get what you pay for there. I've got a Victor VC-97 that I've had for 20 years - still works like a champ and does everything I could ask of it (I have done hobby electronics, reason I got it) Klein also makes a good VC-97 Around $30-$50 depending on where you get it.
  13. Something in your browser settings? Firefox 101.0.1 shows it in English...or maybe Google background settings...I don't remember which.
  14. Amazon runs sites specific to each country... Japan: https://www.amazon.co.jp/
  15. Yep - it's officially too hot in Minnesota - this is as of right now. 106 Heat Index - stepping out for a cig is like stepping into a sauna despite the 'low humidity'.
  16. I wouldn't trust 'glued in' guide inserts...too much opportunity for failure. But let us know how it works out.
  17. As I said earlier - I dunno if TW is getting special packaging because right on Yamamoto's site it states https://www.baits.com/products/3-ned-senko/
  18. Since my bank fishing is all in areas set aside by the local towns, I don't have to worry about wading or fighting brush to get to a spot. Still, it's no more than 3 rigs I bring with me. If it's bass I'm after - ML spinning, M casting, and MH casting - sometimes I'll do without the MH rig.
  19. You and me both, man. This is genius.
  20. First thing you have to do is shrink it down - standard phone size is way too big to post directly. I have to shrink my phone-photos from 3000x4000 to 1200x1600 at least to get them under the max file size - sometimes I bring them down to 768x1024. On my Galaxy I just bring it up in Gallery, click on the Edit icon, resize, save copy. Then it's just posting the shrunk photo from the folder on the phone - my camera saves to 'SD-Card/DCIM/Photos' - my edited photos go to 'Phone/DCIM/Edited Photos' by default.
  21. Where I use mono, Elite is my go-to. Tried Advance - didn't like it Big Game is relegated to backing on my casting reels.
  22. When you gonna model for us, John?
  23. Most topwaters get tossed on 12#YZH
  24. Berkley Pit Boss - never leave home without it. Trailer on jigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits - MH/F rod Bubba shot on a H/F Sometimes weightless like a fluke on a M/F
