  1. If it's in Canadian waters - you'd need the Canada maps which are on the 75/95 models - 73/93 models are the US maps (74/94 are Bluewater...ergo sea coasts). You can add the Canadian maps to any other 7x/9x from a download - purchase the LakeVu Canada maps and follow the instructions on Garmin's site to add them. Note - it's $150.
  2. Looks like it's going to be exactly what you need. Great job, man.
  3. (coughs) My mind went into the sewer with that one....I must be channeling @slonezp
  4. Consistent bags beat one-off big bass every time. Looks like you're having fun and doing good. Hope the 'luck' holds.
  5. Ya - it might be Wednesday Maybe next time, George...
  6. You, RW, Blue, Mr Franco and the others do a great job at it...take the credit man.
  7. I don't care for Culver's actually - what I want is the Bridgeman's to come back. Use to have a dozen just in the metro area...now the only Bridgeman's Restaurant left is way up in Duluth.
  8. One of the things I miss since moving from MA to MN - Friendlys. When I was a kid, my sister, cousins and I would bike to the one that was on Prospect St between Greendale and W Boylston at least once a week...good times.
  9. Alrighty everyone...be there or be square!
  10. Here-here - all the guys do a great job keeping on top of things. Kudos to all you and especially Glenn for keeping this place safe and sane.
  11. Do not lube centrifugal brakes - they work by friction against the drum. Lubricating them removes that friction - might as well just turn them all off.
  12. Anyone looking to stock up on InvizX - Omnia currently has 1000yd spools of 8# to 20# on sale for 30% off. https://www.omniafishing.com/p/seaguar-invizx-100/
  13. No experience with Abu rods - I run Diawa, Dobyns, and Okuma. Maybe a Diawa Tatula 7'1" ML/F - I don't have any Tatulas but I've heard good things about them.
  14. Which ever - all I know is that unless I got at least a little tension I end up with bird's nests.
  15. Ya - same with my Patriarch - if there's any side-to-side play, the brakes don't function correctly. Maybe it's something to do with the dual-braking system?
  16. So far - the earliest I've been on the water is 7:30 Hope to beat that tomorrow - but going before sunrise isn't an option as I don't have lights on the canoe.
  17. Breaking the bank depends on your financial situation. $200 would get you a Dobyns Fury 703SF with either a Pflueger President XT-30, Diawa Legalis LT-2500 or Shimano Sedona FI-2500
  18. Just in case we're all forgetting what we're really shooting for...this is the Minnesota record largemouth - 8lbs15oz - caught in Lake Auburn, Carver Park Reserve in 2005. The shot was taken outside Cabin Fever Sports in Victoria.
  19. Dean's still trying to figure out which day...once he does, the invites will go out.
  20. Just keep away from me with that spatula, Paul.
  21. Haagen Dazs Vanilla Bean There can be only one!
  22. Send a PM to Boomstick with your e-mail address...he'll send you the invite with a link to the meeting.
