I'm a fan of the Aird-X line - but the Heavy will not handle 2oz swimbaits unless you're really careful...the max rating is 1.5oz (yes, I have one - used for frogs, flipping, pitching)

Ya - this "6-11 inches" turned into a whole-lot-of-nothing. I got a high-schooler who comes over and shovels me out.

Or just not shut down - I reboot my computer once a week - otherwise it's always on, always connected. I also set up my home network to give me a static IP address - so it's always the same for this machine even when I reboot.

Do you shut down and restart the computer regularly - or disconnect from the internet? If so, and your ISP uses dynamic addressing, the IP address of your machine will change - and that triggers the board to think it's a different device.

As Mr Franco noted - you probably have surge brakes which are activated on the trailer instead of through the electrical connection - pin #5 is to disengage them when you're backing up...hooked to the backup light.

Remember that it's through tomorrow eve - they're saying it's gonna start up again tonight with 2-4 by morning and another 1-3 by evening.

All frozen meats actually. I've put frozen burger, steak, chicken, whatever in a Ziploc, then in a pot of cold water - let it sit a while. Check it regularly - but it does make for an easier time if you don't have anything ready.

Non-emergency - but the wife is heading into the hospital once the transfer gets here. I probably won't be back from there until late. So, I'll be missing tonight's kaffe-klatch.

There's a reason I have 3 internal 1tb drives - and each of those backs up to 1tb external drives. Current free-space is around 45%-50% on all drives. I don't need the cloud for storage space. If I need more - change out the 1tb for 4tb easily enough.

I refuse to put my personal files on someone elses server.

I regularly do an Image backup of my main drive to a 1tb USB Hard-drive. If I have to replace my main drive - just restore the image and I'm back up with my Win-7 I also have the Win-7 install disks if the image craps out.

Long as you don't act like Richard Petty when backing up you won't put enough pressure on the piston to activate the brakes.

This is the new world with Win-10. They decide what to update on your computer - can't even decline updates like you could with Win-7. Main reason you'd have to kill me to get me off Win-7 and go to Win-10.

If I want a 'special coffee'...it's Caribou. Support a MN company rather than a WA company...keep it local.

Which is how I work it - Line and main part of the rod no more than 90-degree angle...closer the fish is to the canoe, the lower my rod tip goes. Only rods I've broken in 50+ years were due to accidents...not while a fish was on.

That'd require buying a new coffee maker - my Proctor-Silex drip works just fine. I also get the unbleached filters - so filter and grounds go in the compost heap together.

One reason I'll never go to K-Cups. Our recycling people tell us flat out - no K-Cups...even if they're labeled 'Recyclable'.

Ya - surge brakes are auto-activated within the braking system. Electrical brakes use the other pins to activate them - which is what the 7-pin connector is for.

4-pin is standard...but if you ever tow a larger boat with trailer brakes - then you need a 7-pin. I've got a 7-pin - factory installed with the tow package - and an adapter that changes it to 4-pin for my current canoe trailer.

I only go to NPR for the news - we did away with cable years ago, only time we watch TV is with owned or NetFlix discs. "He loves us...he really loves us" ? We'd miss you too, JB

The period of time I worked over-night shift at SAC HQ, we called it 'Midnight Wakeup'...you almost have to spoon it out of the pot - but it kept us going. Now - MJB French Roast or Folgers Black Silk - whichever one the store has on sale that week. Still go through a pot a day.

I hope it's before that - I'm only waiting on two items Fury 703SF ordered 11/15 - Legacy is still waiting on it from Dobyns. Were due in end of last month - tossing a questioning e-mail to them tomorrow. 3 Plano 3607-10 boxes ordered 12/12 - TW still waiting on them from Plano. Originally suppose to be in on 12/16 - then 1/11 - I'll be checking again Friday via e-mail
