  1. The 703 is rated for the same lures/line as my Medium Aird-X The 704 is rated for the same lures/line as my MH Aird-X This is why you pay attention to the ratings...not the words. Ya - you want something faster for any single-hook applications. I've got a FR703C to replace my 6'6" Aird-X M/F and am ordering a FR704C to replace my Laguna MH/F
  2. I use my Fury 705CB for any treble lure over 1/4oz and under 3/4 oz (rod's range). This includes jerks, cranks, WPs, Spooks and glidebaits. Good casting distance with a Fuego and as Boomer said - the softer tip helps keep the fish pinned...I've caught bass and pike on that thing.
  3. Somebody stop me - last year's TW-BF order was $225...right now my cart has over twice that (after the discount)...and I'm still looking around.
  4. I guess I'm a tackle hog in a way 14' Canoe This year it'll be 10 rigs, 2x3700 size bags (5 standard-depth boxes, 6 thin boxes...hard lures/terminal tackle), 2x3600 bags (7x3607 in one, 4x3607 in the other...plastics) and a 16qt cooler with ice that has some snacks and drinks in it...plus any crappie or 2#-3# LMBs I decide to keep. If I go bank fishing - it's 3 rigs and my 7-box 3600 bag...3 boxes of plastics, 4 of hard-baits/terminal tackle...and the cooler.
  5. I never waded for anything other than trout - but it was always fun. Little stream near my childhood home in Worcester, MA - runs through Kirk's Woods just north-west of Indian Lake for anyone interested who's in that area. Brookies and Brownies Straight River just south of Park Rapids, MN - Rainbows and Brookies there.
  6. As a former Network Administrator - I have to emphasize this...Cookies are NOT a danger to your system.
  7. $14 from Amazon - this is the one I have and it really does a good job - up to 3kg (6.6lbs) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B086YPCYV7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Have at it, buddy. Course it might help if you have a weight...definitely helped me narrow down things.
  9. Most of my topwaters are tossed on a MH/M rod. Only the Super Spooks and WP-110s are tossed on my H/F - but I've put 3x hooks on those so they can take the 'abuse' of a fast rod. Spinners, chatters, buzz - all go on the MH/F rod. Like Dens said - if you have to pick only one - get the MH/F...and upgrade the stock hooks on any treble lure you'd be tossing with it.
  10. Gamakatsu Off-Set finesse. It's one of my finesse jigs that gets used frequently. I have it in 3/32 and 3/16.
  11. Long as you don't fall asleep halfway to the finish line.
  12. Only one I use is one that was gifted to me. Berkley, Earthworm 'flavor'...rarely.
  13. I have a Fuego CT-H (6.3) on a Fury 705CB - I think it's a excellent combo for the price.
  14. What pound test were you working with?
  15. Mine came through just fine - "Houston, we are GO for launch!"
  16. I don't yo-yo much - slow-roll it just fast enough to create a wobble with a little rattle action on the lighter ones after burning a heavier one through.
  17. I don't know about the RES specifically - but I've had some luck switching around between Ratlin' Rap 05 (3/8), 07 (1/2) and 08 (3/4). Sometimes they ignore the 08, but a 05 run through the same area/depth will make them hit...same color scheme even. Just have to slow the retrieve with the lighter ones to run them at the same depth.
  18. Ya...notifications have been a little flaky lately.
  19. Sent it within few minutes of that post...check your que.
  20. This is going to be so cool - like an old party-line use to be.
  21. Ya - Karl's has it for $88 - if you're a member of Karl's Club which is $49 a year. Otherwise it's plain-retail of 109.99 TW - with the 20% off for Black Friday - $88
