  1. Heck - my frog rig is STILL a Fuego CT-XS on an Aird-X - well under $200.
  2. Interesting - the IGFA got different results on their tests of YZH
  3. I really didn't get much of a chance to really test it as I was shore-bound and it was on my main jig rig. But it seemed okay...I'd compare it favorably to InvizX, but it's price is higher, so I'd probably pass on it....it was given to me as part of a gift package, not purchased by me.
  4. Ya, I don't use it on all my rigs - I've got InvizX, Sniper, Spro Gouken and some Tatsu for FC...832, Smackdown and YZ Super for braid - testing Revolve this year, and Seige for Mono. What ever gives you confidence is the line you should use. 😊
  5. I swap out the YZH on my rigs about once every three years. Since I only put 65-70yds on top of the backing, a 600yd spool will give me 8 re-spools. So $11 into 24 years is $0.46 a year per reel that I use it on.
  6. One of the neighbors has a plow attachment for his lawn tractor.....pushes that stuff right off the driveway. Forget using an ATV....they ain't got the power.
  7. I'd have to add 'Free Man in Paris' to the list.
  8. They took all the trees and put 'em in a tree museum One of my favorites by her....
  9. I've seen wake boats cut inside the no-wake buoys on Tonka at speed.
  10. Say hello to the Cape for me...haven't seen it since we moved in 1974. d**n I miss Yarmouth, Swan Pond was such a good fishing hole.
  11. This is a good thing to keep with - either original packaging or if you do want to get different size bags for them, use what the bait companies do and get your laminated bags from HERE - various sizes from 3"x3" to 12"x4". These are what I use for re-bagging and even Elaztech doesn't affect these like it does OTC Ziplocs.
  12. For bass shore fishing and that guided trip I had a couple years ago, I use the BPS Extreme Qualifier - 5x3700 or 8x3701 or combo plus 1x3600 in the front pocket.
  13. That was Bruno when we were roasting a turkey. He'd be nose-on to the oven the whole time.
  14. Why do you think so many shoreline owners are getting rip-rap put in?
  15. I don't know about the other 'hybrid' lines - most of them are just a core of mono with a FC coating, so should be termed 'coated line' - but in my experience, YZH seems to be neutrally buoyant.
  16. Nope - cause I don't fish weekends, so my first chance would be the 12th 😛
  17. If I use a mono for either mainline or leader - it's going to be Siege.
  18. And here comes the deep freeze Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around -14. Wind chill values as low as -29. West northwest wind around 10 mph. Washington's Birthday Sunny and cold, with a high near -2. Wind chill values as low as -30. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around -17. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday Sunny and cold, with a high near 0. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around -11. Northwest wind around 5 mph. Wednesday Partly sunny and cold, with a high near 4. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around -8. Northwest wind around 5 mph. Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 10. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
  19. You prepare it and ship it up here....I'll eat it.
  20. Seems just one for all lines...and I was mistaken...YZH came in 2nd behind Trilene XT @FryDog62 - Chris, you want to chime in here?
  21. I know that @FryDog62 did a test some years back that showed that most FC have more stretch than most monos. It's just that it takes more force to start them stretching. Also, mono rebounds where-as FC doesn't - once it stretches it's done. Line that had the least stretch of all he tested? YZH
  22. @Catt - you just keep those down there, we want nothing to do with them.
  23. I think it's inspirational, man....just think if we could catch ones like that out of Tonka.
