4 or 6 pound mono. If it's all going to be worm fishing, the swivel is not necessary. Just tie the hook on with a good knot - I prefer the Palomar for this. Small split-shot weight above the hook - 8-12 inches. Smallest bobber you can get away with and still see. I'm a fan of the bait-holder hooks - prevents the worm from sliding down the shank of the hook - #6 or #4. Depth of the hook below the bobber - I like it about 2-2.5 feet.

If it's a spinning rod, another one to check out while waiting for the Dobyns would be what I have, Diawa Spinmatic. A model with nothing but UL rods ranging from 4' to 8'. It's very light, very responsive and if I upgraded it would probably be to a Diawa Presso...another model that's UL only.

Since I sunburn VERY easily, it's cargo pants, long-sleeved shirt and a hat. Luckily, someone gifted me several fishing shirts...one Columbia (what I'm wearing in my profile pic) and three HUKs. I may be warm, but I won't turn into a cooked lobster.

The fittings are usually standard. Only thing you have to know is what diameter the pipes are. 1/2" and 3/4" are the two standard sizes. <- Someone who does all the plumbing work around the house.

Okay, that one shows the golden background color up near the dorsal side. I'd say it's definitely a Brownie.

Looking at it, I'd say Brown Trout as well. There's a definite 'halo' around a number of the spots and Atlantic Salmon, the most probable Salmon species that might be in NH, doesn't have that halo. And while Brown Trout is mostly a golden background color, silver is not unknown.

I've got 4# Yo-Zuri on my President 25 UL rig - line came with the reel which was gifted to me. Very limp, very castable. If I hadn't already purchased line for my other rigs, I'd be very tempted to buy it for the Avocet and Trion rigs as well.

It's now a 'classic' as it's not made anymore. With quantities limited to what's in circulation, people ask insane prices...and other people will pay them.

Largest eagle in North Europe is the Golden Eagle with a wingspan of just under 8 feet and weighing 15 pounds for females (always larger than the males). Normal carry capacity is 1/2 their weight - so 7.5 pounds. In a 'swoop and grab' they can handle more, but nothing above their own body weight. There have been multiple instances where people stated they carried off dogs and such, and for a small dog (10-12 lbs) this could be the case. Following vid, a Golden Eagle attempts to carry off a toddler, but couldn't handle the weight and dropped the child before flying off. It's possible the lamb was taken, if it was VERY young, but I have my doubts.

How does the crate fit in the kayak bay? If you had tubes both sides of the crate, would it still fit in it's spot? If the tubes are singles and not a unit, you could dismount them and mount them differently.

Is there room in the bay to mount two on one side, angled back, and one on the other? The pics I see show mounting holes all over the place on it.

I took a look - if you're talking the Yak Attack BlackPak crate, you should be able to dismount the rod-holders and re-mount them in just about any position. Might drop it from 6 to 4 holders depending on the angle, but it'd work.

That's a sealed battery...you don't 'get into it'. Only maintenance you can do is keep the posts clean of corrosion and make sure your charger is rated for deep-cycle batteries.

First thing to know is how much line the spool will hold. Two examples from my arsenal...capacities can usually be found on the manufacturers site or selling sites Fuego-CT - baitcaster Mono Capacity: 150/12 120/14 100/16 Braid Capacity: 210/20 140/30 120/50 President - baitcaster Mono Capacity: 145/12 125/14 100/17 Braid Capacity: 185/20 140/30 100/50 Now you didn't say what pound test you have, so I'm going with 30# braid in the example. Both reels will hold 140 yds of 30# at max, so I'd want to put just under half a spool of mono behind that. Closest in 'fill capacity' is 12#, so instead of 150 yds of that on the Fuego, I'd put 70 yds on, join the mono to the braid and fill the spool the rest of the way. For the President, I'd put on 65 yds, then finish with the other half-spool of braid. It's really trial and error, but that will give you a good starting point. Another thing to look for is the line manufacturer's specs as braid of the same pound-test can have different diameters between brands and that will affect how much backing you put on.
