  1. I'm doing better - one of my guys is Easton.....
  2. We need to find a wooden ship with lots of barnacles, then keel-haul him several rounds.
  3. Questions are not an issue - that's why us electrical guys are here. Given the colors in the area, I would say the yellow/red stripe is your hot-lead and the black is your ground. If you can disconnect one end close to that spot - then FFF's sugestion of heat-shrink is doable - but not the plain black stuff for marine wiring....get the waterproof stuff If you can't find an end close - get the waterproof butt-splices, cut and reconnect....electrical tape is not gonna be good enough for the long-term.
  4. If you're gonna splice in lengths - get the butt-splices with built in heat-shrink....much better than the separate heat shrink.
  5. 1: This is the stuff you want - West Marine carries it as well as other marine supply dealers. Red is 'Hot' yellow is 'Ground' instead of black in house-wiring. 2: Ya - put some electrical tape on it for now, but I'd replace ASAP.
  6. ^ You just described a Fleet Farm. 😁
  7. We're in the same boat here, pal
  8. We got 50/50 chance of 12" coming down where I am....and just remember....it's actually another week before Spring hits the calendar. And FF is a big part of my fishing-shopping as well.
  9. Rods - $200-250....my Victorys are about as good as I could afford Reels - Spinning - Miravel for finesse; Ultegra for power....so about $150 (though much less at JDM prices) Casting - I picked up a couple Lews Tournament MP's last year....they did a decent job of filling in for (never replacing) my Patriarchs (which are no longer made).
  10. I'm not ON the lake - closest shore is 2-1/2 blocks from me, but is dominated by multi-million dollar homes. Launch ramps near me - All part of Lake Minnetonka Phelps Bay 1.2 miles Spring Park Bay - 2.0 miles Harrison Bay - 2.1miles North Arm - 3.2 miles Maxwell Bay - 3.7 Miles Other lakes in the area Dutch - 2.5 miles Little Long - 5.2 miles Whaletail - 6.7 miles
  11. 👍 I gave mine away.....
  12. Bucca Baby Gill - no idea as I have yet to toss it or anything similar.
  13. It's starting to look 'perty'.
  14. Tonka still has guys dragging sleds out on the 8"-12" ice....
  15. Us northern boys (Andy's at about the same latitude as me....pretty close) gotta have something to do waiting for the ice to melt.
  16. I'm gonna watch this too....
  17. Ditto what everyone else has said. I only run the TM off my 100ah...everything else runs off the 35ah "house" battery.
  18. Ya - I tested the Trigons in store and hated them from first grip. This year's rod selection for Bass is 12 St Croix and 1 Okuma Dead Eye. Panfish get 1 Okuma SST, 1 Okuma Celilo and a Daiwa Procyon.
  19. I would have suggested that myself - have a NOCO Genius 5x2 currently hooked to my 2 AGMs...if I had gone LiFePo4, the charger is already set for that.
  20. Whether it's shore or boat I always have some music in the background...low enough that nature sounds still come through, but loud enough to hear it clearly.
  21. If I wasn't selling Bass Trek, and had the money, I'd immediately replace my AGMs with LiFePo4s....I HAVE done the research....
