Take a look at the Alx Zolo series too, never heard anything bad about them and they are supposed to be phenomenal rods.

Personally I wouldn't get a falcon rod. A much better rod in the same price range (to me atleast) is a dobyns fury 734. It's perfect for jigs.

Having fished with a mojo bass and a fury id pick the fury every time. The St Croix felt like a broomstick in the hand.

Dobyns generally run a power lighter than most, my 733 fishes like a true medium power rod.

You can't go wrong with either one. Daiwa and Shimano are top of the line manufacturers for a reason. Personally I'd go with the Daiwa, just because I prefer daiwa to shimano in general. Also you can get the Fuego for <$70 on eBay with a 20% off code.

My most expensive rods are my finnese rod and jig rod. My least expensive rod is my frog rod.

My favorite crankbait was the rapala dt-6 but I can't afford to spend $8 on a bait that breaks every other outing.

May I ask why you didn't like any Abu Garcia rods? Personally I have a Vendetta 7'3 mh as my frog rod paired with a Daiwa Fuego, and it fishes perfectly to me.

If I wasn't in a rush id also wait and grab a fury. I have a fury and it's my favorite rod paired with a Daiwa Tatula type r.

Personally I'd buy the Carbonpite 2.0 right now on sale and if get a Daiwa Fuego ct off eBay for $60. I use the fuego for my froggin reel and it works great.

So I was looking at the 7'0 mh All purpose rod, I heard the Okuma has a much slower action than most rods so I was wondering if it was slow enough for crankbaits but not to slow that you couldn't use it for any thing else? Or should I just stick with a dedicated cranking outfit?

The Tatula is one of the most user friendly reels. I have multiple Daiwa reels and they remain my favorites.

Personally I wouldn't get any of the ones you listed and get a Daiwa Tatula lt off eBay instead.
