If you can't drive your boat onto your trailer
So it is good for something.

Anybody had the Rona?
You just never know how it will affect you. I know a 93 year old woman that had it and had very mild symptoms for 4 days. I know a 28 year old man than was in the hospital for 9 weeks and after being home for 2 months can’t take more than a few steps with a walker.

When to use a bait casting set up versus spinning for a technique
Everyone can tell you what they are more comfortable with. The question is what are you more comfortable with. Tie a shakey head on both and see which one works best for you. There are lots of people that use only spinning and lots of people that use only bait casting. I use both and my preferences are kind of quirky and have changed over time. The important thing is I know the advantages and disadvantages that both bring to the way I fish.

Are Bass Color Blind?
A lot of research done in this area. I've posted this chart several times. Researchers trained bass to identify different colors. This chart shows how good they were at identifying the different colors.

TW. Order vs Shipping dates
They've always been very slow for me. A couple of years ago I place a TW order and a JDM order within an hour of each other on a Thursday. The order from Japan arrived on Tuesday and the TW order arrived the following Friday.

The best fishing tackle and bait manfacturer
The OP ask about manufacturers. I’d have to say the Chinese, they manufacture just about everything mentioned in this thread. ☹️

Songs you never get tired of...
I'll give ya a couple of songs from two foreign groups that apparently no one has heard of Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones Come Together - The Beatles

Should I use clips?
The great thing about using them is you don't have to retie as often. The bad thing is you don't retie as often.

World's Most Expensive Glide Bait
You would also need to buy the Plano Lure Safe and install it own your boat. You don't want to store something that expensive in a regular tackle box.

Why have boat insurance
Yeah. I was on a jury a few years ago. A woman got rear ended at an intersection. There was no damage to her bumper. Her kid was in a car seat in the back seat playing with an iPad and didn't even drop the iPad. She was asking for $300,000 for pain and suffering.

Why have boat insurance
I would never ever considerer not having liability insurance on my boat or any other vehicle. Your potential liability loss is basically your net worth and a good portion of your future income if you don't have insurance. As for comprehensive, my rule of thumb is I carry it on any vehicle with a value over $10K. The $10K number is based on my financial situation. Everyone is different is this regard.

That " Something Different"
Very interesting topic and I've enjoyed reading the responses. Back in the 90s there were two school teacher (I don't remember their names) that spent their summers fishing on Guntersville. Legend has it that they only fished Mann's 20+ deep diving crankbaits and that they had a bunch of milk run spots that they used to kick everyone's butt in the local tournaments. One of them won a major B.A.S.S. event on Guntersville. They developed a unique approach that worked for them and made them a lot of money. I don't think that approach would work on a pro tournament trail or any trail for that matter. No one seemed to respect their skills and everyone seemed to hate them. I'm sure envy played a role in the hate. Were they good anglers?

Duck is killed in pond
Another vote for snapping turtle. I was fishing once and a duck started flapping it wings and causing all kinds of commotion in the water I was trying to fish. I trolled up by the duck and saw that a turtle had it's leg. I dipped the turtle up with my net and it turned loose. I guess his plan was to hold on until the duck gave out and drowned.

Whats your craziest "catch" that's not a fish?
What color red eye shad? I’m needing a new phone. ?

Spotlock GPS puck placement - where is yours?
There is no Ultrex GPS puck. The puck is a heading sensor. Like Russ said, it is not used for Spotlock. It has a compass in it so it needs to be mounted away from any magnetic fields and it needs to be pointed forward. Other than that, where it's mounted doesn't matter. Mine is mounted under my console.

Mustang Survival Elite HIT Inflatable PFD Rearming Kit ~ The Saga
It's odd that you can buy the PFD direct from Mustang but you have to buy the re-arm kit from a dealer.

Foam
If you know the weight of the boat with the foam and the dimensions of the foam then with a little math it could be determined if the foam is big enough to keep the boat from sinking without doing an actual test.

MLF style is too easy?
When I check the results of a pro tournament, I always check the bottom of the standings to see who struggled. It make me feel better about my own fishing. ?

New to tournaments
Yeah, it ain’t over till it’s over. Once after a mediocre day, I was back at the marina just making a few cast in the last few minutes of the tournament. I made a cast while talking about my day with another competitor, hardly paying attention to what I was doing. The big fish for the tournament hit my trickworm right at the boat and put me into first place. I didn’t deserve it but I took the money.?

Major Boat Fail By A Pro (Aaron Britt)- video back up
This further proves that just because you’re a pro angler and have a $100K boat does not mean you are smart enough or skilled enough to drive the boat. Tournaments should have speed limits. Their should not be situations were an angler gets the spot because he was willing to take the risk necessary to get there first.
