I’ve used it for 25 years on spinning reels. It works great due to its smaller diameter. Abrasion resistance is a problem so you have to keep an eye on the condition of the line and knots. It appears to me to be identical to Sunline Supernatural and I buy whichever is cheaper.

Yeah, I'm getting very close to cancelling early this year. I'm not getting my money's worth with games being cancelled due to COVID and the ones that are being played being very painful to watch. ?

This is good for the sport and for me. I only subscribe to cable during football season so if it's not available on broadcast TV or the internet, I can't watch it.

It has HDMI in/out so I guess you can just attach your Roku. The Apex starts at $4K so I'll probably just wait till I get home to watch Netflix on my $400 TV.

I suspect that they have 360 live loaded on the trucks ready to ship and are just waiting for me to upgrade to 360 mega before they roll it out.

My first gen 360 died recently. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to spend $495 to fix it, buy a second gen, or wait for for what's coming next. When I do replace it, I'll be adding a troll jacket after seeing your photos. That's a nice set up you've got there.

Call me a wimp if you like but I love this stuff. It's not the hottest sauce on the planet but it has great flavor.

Fog does not scare me one bit. What scares the heck out of me is other boaters in the fog. There's been countless times when I've been on the water in heavy fog and heard boats running at high speed. I don't go anywhere near the main river channel in the fog. I've been known to fish with my air horn in my back pocket on foggy mornings. There's some crazy people out there.

The best way to find interesting articles it through references in other articles. Of course you need a starting place. I would suggest you start with https://scholar.google.com. It's just gives you google search limited to scholarly articles. There is plenty of free stuff available on the web. You will find references to articles that sound interesting but are not free. That can be very frustrating because they are usually very expensive to buy (like $40 for a five page article). If you have access to a college library or to a kid in college, you should be able to get a copy of almost any article for free.

I agree with @Catt. Sometimes fish just don't know a good spot when they see it. It's almost like they can't read a lake map.

I have an Ultrex and love it for deep water fishing which is my favorite way to fish. It is not ideal for shallow water fishing that's for sure. When I had my first boat (Tracker TX17), I did a lot of shallow water fishing. I replaced the cable steer with a hand steer like @TnRiver46 mentioned and really liked it. It was great for shallow water flipping and pitching. I spent a lot of time standing at the very front of the boat with TM almost between my legs. I was close to the cover I was fishing and if I got hung up, I could reach down and quickly turn the TM on high to retrieve my lure then quickly switch it to reverse to get me back out. It was a very efficient way fish shallow visible cover. When I fished deep water, I used an extension handle and a foot switch which worked great. If I had the money I would get a second boat for spring shallow water fishing and rigged it the exact same way. It all depends on how you like to fish. If you spend most of your time in shallow water then go with the Terrova and save some money.

Most people set their drag to about 1/4 - 1/3 of their line strength. I would set my drag to around 4 lbs for #15 mono. I recommend this test to educate yourself on the actual forces your equipment can handle. Tie your line to a gallon jug of milk (or water) which weights about 8 lbs and VERY CAREFULLY try to lift it with your rod. Unless you're using a very heavy action rod and more that #15 test, you will not be able to lift it without breaking something. Make sure it's not your rod that you break. I personally wouldn't try to lift much more than 4 lbs with the typical medium heavy rod.

I set mine with a scale and usually set it to start slipping between 1/4 and 1/3 of the line test or max line rating of the rod which ever is less.

I worry about drunk drivers on New Year's Eve so if I'm fishing I usually quit early so I can get home before dark. ?

You guys ever try to catch em when they're bustin up on shad? You see the water boiling and shad jumping and you try to get a bait in the middle of it before it stops. You've got maybe three seconds but if you can get it there in time, you're almost guaranteed to catch one. It's exciting and frustrating at the same time.

You obviously have never been trained as a plumber. In college I worked as a plumber's helper during the summer. The other tradesmen on the work sites always reminded us that you only need to know two things to be a plumber. 1) ? floats 2) Water only runs down hill.

This thread got me thinking about how the Tennessee River violates the rules others have mentioned here. The water that flows into Pickwick flows out of Pickwick dam except for the water that takes a short cut to the Gulf of Mexico by going down the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway. Water that flows into Kentucky Lake flows out of Kentucky dam unless it decides to take the canal over to Barkley Lake where it can go down the Cumberland river to the Ohio.

Very interesting problem here. I'm not an expert on batteries and I think this question requires an expert. I've never encountered a battery with a negative charge but I've heard that it can happen and understand how it can happen. I don't see how a battery could have a negative 12.8 voltage without being reversed charged and even then it's hard to believe it could be that high (or low to be mathematically correct). Personally, I would suspect that you've got a bad charger or a neighbor that reversing the leads on your battery when you're not looking just to mess with you. Good luck. I've never seen a website that you can post photos to that does not remove location data from the photos before putting them online. I'm not saying they don't exist but I'm not aware of one. Texting a photo to some one definitely includes the location where the photo was taken unless you take steps to prevent it.
