Mind if I steal the 2 minute penalty meme?

I’ll do the Gatorades and waters, no Red Bull for me though. I may pack a few Pepsi’s. For snacks, anything that I don’t have to touch with my hands. I can hold a cheese stick by the wrapper. Or something like cashews in a plastic baggy or a slim gas station tube to put up over my mouth. I dont know why, but I have a thing about my hands on food even though I take wipes and wipe them off.

Since today starts the MLF World Championship, is it live on the website?

I’m not going to eat a bass. For a short time I lived in a poor area of Alabama (black belt) that was a big producer of farm raised catfish. All of the town events had tables set up frying or grilling catfish filets. The two restaurants in town featured catfish. I’ve not eaten fish in a while.

His surgery went ok. The surgeon said he got everything he could and that he’ll have about 48 weeks left...

My father-in-law is having surgery this morning at 9am Central.

My father-in-law has also been my fishing partner for the last few years and recently was told he has a glioblastoma, which is an aggressive brain tumor. He’s just a salt of the earth man that anybody on here would love if they spent time with him. He’s lost a fair bit of function on his right side, now has tremors, and his mind is fading in and out. He won’t be able to hold or cast a spin caster or a bamboo pole let alone put the boat in. He has surgery soon and I’m hoping that most of him is still there after the surgery. My wife is a daddy’s girl but she’s putting on a strong front for him since after surgery is radiation, chemo, and palliative care. Does anybody have suggestions as to as to how I can help him fish one last spring?

I think I only caught 8 bass all of last year. I’d like to be able to skip a jig with my baitcaster and be accurate when I cast or skip a Senko with my spinning rod.

I picked up 4, some with Colorado and willow or double willow. Did anybody find some darker colored spinnerbaits? All my BPS has were white, chartreuse, white and chartreuse, and white with blue and chartreuse top.

@TnRiver46 I know I’d like to fish, but my buddy and I will be getting in to town late, we’ll be leaving after I get off work. I may throw a spinning rig or two in the back of the truck and bring some soft plastics to bank fish in case we have time.

I’ll be driving back after weigh-ins. I hope I can stand in that line early. The expo opens at 7? ?

Each individual day is divided into three fishing periods with a break between them. I assume the reason they start the live feed at 10 am local time is to have enough material from period 1 to perform commentary and it is the time the second period starts.

Jordan Lee is on fire right now. It wouldn’t surprise me if he finished in the top 10 in this tournament and then won the Classic in Knoxville coming up in a few weeks.

I wanted to have my own professional charter/guide service since I stumbled a little in college. But I figured that wouldn’t be plausible. I’m miserable because my current career is not what I wanted to do and can’t change since I have so much student loan debt.

Birmingham Iron smoked Memphis today, final score was 26-0. The broadcast quality looked pretty good, also had good camera work. What I think the teams need to work on is offensive line and receivers. O-line in both of the games I watched had blown assignments or didn’t block anybody. Receivers looked sloppy running routes and blocking downfield.

I picked up a pair of swim jigs the other day. Pacemaker Pulse swim jigs designed by Cliff Pace. One white and one in a bluegill color pattern. I believe both are 3/8oz.

Worms or crickets under a bobber at the piers. Maybe try to find a small county/city government owned pond that stocks it. See if any any docks, piers, marinas, have an automatic fish feeder set up. Almost always guaranteed nice sized panfish.
