  1. Nite crawlers, bobbers and 2-12 packs. Go old school
  2. Atomic Sunfish. If they were an MMA fighter they’re lightweight champs.
  3. Nice! Something happens when they get over 6..it’s different
  4. This...but fried And a couple beers. But your to young for beer. That’s the only problem in this situation.
  5. Jig and spinnerbait need to be up there as well. Anything with a skirt is versatile.
  6. Theres no lunch break in the wild. If they perceive there is food around that is easily attainable with risk minimized they eat. I do believe bass (most animals actually) DO get fired up. Fired up to me at least means more willing to take chances to eat.
  7. I hope I get to see someone chum with crankbaits, spinnerbaits, or a jitterbug. I’d go have lunch with that man. He he has it figured out.
  8. If only I could find one of these that can retrieve some poor non fishing decisions through the years..
  9. It’s possible to row a cruise ship, however not recommended. Looking into my crystal ball here.... it’ll be fun at first, then it will be the reason to NOT go fishing. Learned from experience: Fishing is hard enough. Getting to the fish shouldn’t be.
  10. Just the right amount of challenge and reward. Think of it like the NFL. America is football crazy because it only happens 16 times a year for your team. Just the right amount of action (casting, maneuvering etc) and options as far as bait goes.
  11. Stick bait on 1/4 or 1/8 oz. Or.. Wacky rig skipped under docks, rocks, piers, cars, bridges, homeless people, trees, tires, boats, floats, jet ski’s, sprinklers, whatever
  12. BPS Tourney Special 7’6 Heavy BPS Tourney Special 6.6:1 reel 17lb Berkley Fluoro
  13. If you like working on stuff, get it. If you like fishing, get something already set up. Its always, always more work than you think it is.
  14. Antones. If you know anything about the blues, you have to go.
  15. 2500. May also consider no leader if the water is that dirty. Probably pilot error on my part, but I’ve had issue with leaders holding on to light braid tight and effectively.
  16. Keep it if you have room especially if your getting a bigger boat. That way you can employ two boat approach on small lakes or HP restricted lakes, go with the small. Big water, bring the other one.
  17. Eh, nothing wrong with it. Especially the buzz bait. Spinnerbait I prefer with as light as you can get away with. It swims more natural to me at least. Whatever melts your butter tho..
  18. “Take the wife out” As in ‘with’? I’m good..I’m out. love her to death but... <buy what you want>
  19. Go bigger. After the first week you’ll say “I should’ve gotten the _____hp instead.” Get a 9.9 or 15 and be done with it.
  20. I learned a 1/4oz weight and a worm catch more fish than those fancy things most of us have...most of the time
  21. Possibly when fishing very clear water. Don’t have much of that where I live so mostly straight braid.
  22. Must be newly weds...give those fish a couple years, they’ll be in perpetual post spawn.
  23. I have the Garmin Striker 7cv. It’s great for what it is. I would recommend something with charts which would be the ecomap series. Much like an outboard motor, not many people say I wish I had less then what I have. Good luck
  24. “Very superstitious..writin’s on the wall..” Nah, if you fish a lot you’ll get past all those. My favorite bait is the one that’s working. I’ll throw a butter knife on a bobber if it gets bit. Superstitions is a placebo which does effect outcome on a short term basis. Anyone superstitious about their marriage? Don’t think so.
