The Downside To Hawg Hunting
This^ times a thousand. You’ll find more sports cars in South Beach than you will in Antelope Oregon. Because, well, there’s physically more of them.

Bass fishing confessions
We’ve covered this but let’s go... Caught a fish on everything but a drop shot. Hell, I sit down to tie the knot watching instructions and lose interest as the first commercial is on..Next thing I know, 9 beers are gone, sportscenter is on and there is muffled BS coming from upstairs..eh. Batteries are charged, meet at the ramp at 5:45

What fixed blade knife?
Hahaha? “Florida Man...” Your correct sir. The start of to many headlines

What fixed blade knife?
You have a better chance of catching a 10lber than a gator messing with you. Most Important Tip: However, when approaching a pond/lake with an angled bank, DO NOT walk straight at it. Walk at a 45 degree angle so you can see the shore and what ever is there can see you and move. As stated above, don’t spook them if possible. As far as snakes...yeah they’re there. Wear some boots if your worried but it’s not that big of a deal due to most of those ponds you see the surrounding grass is cut pretty low. You’ll be fine. This ain’t the Amazon

Casting Reaction Baits Behind The Boat?
Ha, yeah this. If he’s already got a limit, I’ve noticed I got more room. If it’s 11:30 and he hasn’t touched a fish, it’ll be pretty tight. Not a rule book type of guy, but would that be considered trolling in a tournament? While the boat is moving I’m speaking of

Why is this true about wind and moving baits?
Well, the more spawning seasons that come and go, you start fishing memories more and more....

Why is this true about wind and moving baits?
^? This. I attempt to not over think it (not hard in my case). Everything feels better when it’s windy. Walk into a doctors office. Dead calm. Silence. Don’t feel good. Don’t want to move to fast. Walk into a party. Loud. Music. Talking, cocktails. Feels good. You start eating, talking to strange woman who aren’t your wife, taking more chances.. my theory at least

The hardest season to catch LMB?
I know summer puts them in predictable places but that 95 degrees feels like 105 will wear on you. Mentally worst than physically. You start to ponder your existence in the grand scheme of the universe...and why can’t get that 2 pounder to bite

Missing the warmer fishing months...
It was 46 today. I called in. School was cancelled. We put actual wood into this hole built into the wall evidently called a chimney. Neighbors dog had frostbite. 70 by 3pm and all is well.

Central Florida advice
You’re right in the hornets nest bub. Short drive to Polk County where literally most of the famous Florida lakes are. 2 of the not so famous ones are Arbuckle and Crooked Lake. Green anything soft plastic, black frog. Good luck!

/..
The wife can smell a chicken wing from a minimum of 2 blocks. Inside of 1 block, she can tell you what flavor and where you got it from. Bass are the same..I would suspect

Gambler Or Bullet what's your thoughts.
We can hit 28 on a slick day, no tackle with beer in the boat..26

baitcaster right or left retrieve
It’s not what hand you reel with that’s weird. It’s manipulation of the bait with the off hand/arm. With that being said, if I’m setting the hook (jig, worm, frog)left handed. Setting the hook with right arm. Casting/winding other way. Getting to the point no where it don’t matter. I’ll pick one up and be equally ineffective.

Largemouth patterns Florida
It’s been cold lately and the water temp has gone from 74 early last week to 66-67 this weekend. The sun hasn’t been out in close to a week. It’s been weird lately, due to such quick temp drop. We caught a bunch of randoms on jerkbaits and spinnerbaits. Only a handful were ‘where we thought they should be’ Thats fishing

Can't believe I'm asking this but how do I fool my wife? LOL
Leave her. Meet strange women. Have them sponsor your fishing. Pound beers during the process. Go back to wife when you both realize your to old to start over. Buy more tackle.

What are the best youtube channels....
Watch any of the pros fish an actual tournament. That’s where I learn. It’s like watching/listening to a football coach on the whiteboard vs being in a game..give me the game

What line do you use with which technique (crank, jigs, topwater...)
Lightest you can get away with while still having confidence you can jack them if needed....sorta like parenting

When you first get on the lake, graph or find a spot that looks good and fish?
Depth Chart Season Where you want to focus (docks, points etc) What you want to throw Then you see the first one bust a cast length away....and it’s on. All your plans evaporate

fluorocarbon lb for baitcasters?
^yeah This. The more the bait moves, lighter the line. Less it moves, heavier. Of course this IMO

Modest boats and anemic motors
Been said here before: Never met someone who said “I wish I had less power”. Fully loaded, you will be lucky to hit 20mph. Buy the bigger motor.
