Time is the biggest factor. A lot will get 5 bites quickly and then come back and really dissect. Many pros will like 1 log or 1 rock or limb etc on a spot. They’ll hit it, nothing, leave, come back hours later and hit it once more. Then they repeat this if needed sometimes on multiple spots.
