  1. Orange Lake a little north has been good. Johns Lake further south is super clear by Florida standards and fun. There are a bunch of options in Central Florida,
  2. I take my Yamaha 25 off the boat after every trip (2-3 a week). I’ve been got before and it’s almost the worst feeling in the world.. Sucks my man
  3. Thinking to much. Worrying to much. If you like the pumpkin worm, throw it. Take everything out of the boat except that. You’ll start to find where the fish are. Once you find them, you will be amazed how lure choice has such a small impact on fish that are FEEDING.
  4. Yes my company does. Fully sublimated to whatever you want. PM me
  5. Try both. The one you like better, use that. Personally, I like the tad amount of stretch of FC but can, have and will use both.
  6. I live in the 813. PM me. Thing about Tampa is there are 4 public boat ramps for freshwater. 4. The most dangerous animal you will run in to is man, or woman, letting you know that in fact “this is private property”. I just tell them I went to public school and do not read or write the English Language.
  7. There is still an entry fee. BFL co angler went from $175 to $100. The angler side was reduced as well. I’m just hoping it doesn’t dilute it. The BFL’s I’ve fished have been 1st class.
  8. Dropped the entry fee for boaters and non boaters...not sure if this is a good thing. Bars with a cover charge and bars without one are distinctly different.
  9. Fishing is a relationship. There’s ups downs and in between. Learn when you lose. Limit those mistakes (if any) and celebrate the good times. There are more fish to catch than bass also...sometimes we forget
  10. Every fish is on the Keto diet down here. Wife is not however. She is on the Otek. That’s Keto backwards.
  11. That screams ‘man made’. Usually high banks. 45 degree LONG casts. Usually rocks= jigs, crankbait, spinnerbait. Cast out in front of the boat instead of vertically at the bank. The strike zone on high banks a lot of the times are 3 feet from the bank to 20 feet off the bank. Good luck!
  12. ^^? Not sure what it means but I like it.
  13. Carefully.. Trim up. Dont stand as far front as normal so when you hit one with the trolling motor it doesn’t launch you. Wear your PFD while fishing not just when on plane. Put your phone in the dry box and not in your pocket so in the event you do go in, you can still make a call.
  14. Ha...haha. So many ways you can go with this title. If that’s all she’s worried about, your good bub. Don’t come home smelling like a fresh shower. That sir, is the kiss of death.
  15. You can get it fixed...but What you want to hear is “get a bigger motor” What you really want to hear is “get a new boat”
  16. I tie my wife to the rope, kick it off the side. 1 tug means there’s fish around. 2 tugs means get up it’s time to go.
  17. Been so hot down here, I saw two bass hosing themselves off at the ramp. Surface temp was 96 last week. Another one jumped in the boat and demanded I put him in the livewell. Been rough
  18. Alot of wind- throw spinnerbait Not enough wind- throw chatterbait No wind- throw something else Theyre also good in no visibility water
  19. Got my soft plastics like this: Big zip lock of ‘greens’ Big zip lock of ‘non greens’ 7 spinnerbaits/3 chatterbaits 8 crankbaits 15 jigs 4 frogs 3 top water walkers 1 buzzbait 3 baitcasters 1 spinning And GPS to the ramp. If it doesn’t get used in 6 months, it goes in the offsprings bag.
  20. Bass fishing is mostly art. Dont be afraid to get a little paint on the walls.
  21. No they don’t. Why? Think about where you throw a frog. Where you flip. Where you skip under docks. Good luck fish a shiner there
  22. Anything silver or white is good. Most of them want to chase it so you probably can’t fish to fast
  23. 8ft heavy action rod, bait caster, set on free spool, 50lb braid and no instructions. Might as well get’em going early.
