For years I've frog fished with a Revo AL - F 8:0.1, it's 5.5 ounces, has 17 lbs of drag and holds enough Daiwa J braid 50 lb test that even on a long cast it's nowhere near empty. It's been replaced with the AL - X. I'm not claiming it's the best but it's light and has yet to fail me.

I'd suggest looking at some roll up traction mats so you can let you vehicle handle all the lifting and pulling and hopefully prevent injury to you.
