  8. Provokes are good, 110's are great, but my #1 producer for years has been the Rapala Shadow Rap(slow sink).
  9. Shimano Tranx 300A 5.8:1 and the Daiwa DXSB MH 8' would put you at $400 and is a fine combo
  10. Pros hold no sway over what brand of anything I purchase. Style of lure, how they fish them, and location they fish them have influenced me.

  12. Couple from the pond today on the Bourbon Blaze.
  13. Fished from 7 - 2 today in heavy fog. Caught 6 Spots, 3 on JB and 3 on the Ned. The fish were locked down until the fog rolled out at 12:30.
  14. I stay hydrated and have tried everything to get them out once they start moving such as swimming, walking/jogging, rolling around on a 60 cm excercise ball, riding atv, and etc. I've figured out that a hot tub, a bottle of water, a bottle of beer, a Percocet, and a Soma ever hour until it passes is my best process. This is from a person that take zero daily meds and I do not say it's safe but works for me. I passed a 6.5 mm that looked a glass sandspur with ureter lining still hanging from it. Our local hospitals will only treat you with the bare minimum for pain so years ago I quit looking to them for help to be injected with the equivalent of 2 Tylenol.
  15. Largemouth
  16. That's wonderful.
  17. Oh my. How will you survive those major temperature swings?? That's sounds amazing. I ran my chainsaw today for 25 minutes and was completely soaked with sweat as it was 80 degrees and 99.7% humidity here in Ga.
  18. When folks mention their great bass catching locals I can't help but think of Pat Cullen with 1,113 over 10lbs primary on a Buzzbait.
  19. Super Fluke & MB 110 fished fast and shallow has been working for me. Wednesday I had 60 degree water which is 10+ degrees warmer than our normal winter temps. I'm gonna try a Jackhammer & 8" Bull Shad up shallow tomorrow in the wind & rain.
