If the amount of trash I pick up per trip while on the lake is an accurate representation of the numbers of anglers/boaters. I'd say we're getting back to the folks that for the most part truly respect the outdoors versus folks wanting something to do.

I'm not a Top Tier Gear guy so I can't help there. I can't see going from 4 to 1 working in my fishing. Even by myself paddling at my hunting club pond I take 5 combos. I wish you luck

My pond is under 1 acre and I catch hundreds maybe 1,000's of smaller bass and then for some reason unknown to me she'll hit. It does happen more often in Jan. - March.

17 lb with a 3oz treble hooked bait. 20lb minimum for 3oz jig hook baits. Big difference on the hook set.
