I've personally never caught any bass that jumps 5' out of the water without making a 97 yard cast.? Sounds alot like our carp and I've never found a bass lure they'll hit.

Somebody's gonna report you to the RPS.? I've been lucky and never broke one of my rods but I've had other folks break a couple. If I'd of broke 5 by this point in the year I'd likey winterize my boat and just go hunting. But thankfully that's not the case so I'll just fish on through the rest of the year.

Deep cranks for me as we have grass out to 17 FOW that's 6' thick that drives me insane. I can only crank so many pounds of grass before I put it down.

I'll throw the Shakey Head year round if the fish want slow. A Buckeye Spot Remover Pro 1/8 with a Zoom Junebug & Black Trickworm or their Shakey Head worm on 10 lb braid to 10 lb FC leader.

I like them anyway but raw and always fileted. I'm a fish eating machine. For 20 years I've been keeping 40 - 50 sub 12" LM out of my 1 acre pond and in the last 9 years I've caught a DD or one pushing 10. Three to four times a year on public lakes I'll keep Spots and smaller LM. The way I figure is those fellas that are paid by us tax payers riding around in the $50K shock boats that monitor the population of fish have more info than us and will rein in over fishing. It's funny how the taking of games animals works on all but bass in some folks minds.

The SK jerkbaits work fine. I'll throw them over the MB when I'm not concerned with it sitting/suspending very long. I catch alot of bass on the Oyster color.

I can throw a few of my 5 to 9 oz swimbaits 65 - 70 yards but can't come close to that with standard gear and don't really have much need to. I do try to throw deep diving cranks and walking baits as far as possible which may on a good day hit 50 yards.

I fish some Spotted bass holding rocks on my home lake that are 18 - 25' that I marked on my Solix using SI and have fished them dozens of times. What's strange is some days/nights the waypoint is dead on the rocks using the 360 Imaging and sometimes 10 - 20' off. Even with nothing overhead and calm conditions I've experienced this situation. I'm able to accurately fish the rocks using 360 but it seems strange.

My 360 Imaging nonMega greatly improved my ability to locate cover and fish it efficiently. I'll likely be installing LiveScope on my other little boat in 2022. The way some folks complain about the FF sonars, you'd think they'd be pulling wood boats with horse drawn wagons.
