  1. Couple Jackhammer fish
  2. I wish I could help you. I'm going in a few hours and have 16 rods rigged and an illegal amount of 3700's below deck.
  3. 95% of my time is running the TM(fishing) not the Mercury.
  4. Trickworm, Finesse worm, and Shakey Head worms both sizes
  5. I'd only go in the water for one of these Tools. Now I'd send one of them in after one of my big swims while I keep the boat in position.
  6. Get you a Roman Made Mother and fish it in the timber. I've been told it's very stimulating when you hook a good bass.
  7. Many of our lakes have Yellow Perch. I'd fish it.
  8. I would if it would've scratched or bit me. I stay away from hospitals & Dr. Offices so I'm not exposed to the Covi. I really hope that bat didn't migrate from the Wuhan seafood market.
  9. Yes I've noticed it. I think the predatory fish actually target the imperfections. I've got a rough looking 1/4 Rat-L Trap in Gold that's missing alot of it's paint that I reach for when the bass are chasing shallow.
  10. The chance of rabies was my concern. A friend of my wifes dog brought a dead bat in their house and the entire family of 4 had to get rabies shots. My understanding was that none of them even touched it and this joker was on my leg. So if y'all don't hear from me after a couple weeks it'll be no mystery. If that joker would've made it up into my shorts I'd be with you on not being a fan.
  11. I got a early start this morning and was headed up the lake in the dark with a plan while sipping on my 30 oz mug of coffee. About five minutes into my run something small hit me in the chest and I thought nothing of it even though I was running wide open(26 blistering MPH). A moment later I feel something similar to loose fishing line blowing against my bare leg so I swipe it away and immediately it's back doing it again. I came off plane and flipped on my headlamp and looked down to see a BAT trying it's best to climb my leg. I went from my driver's seat to up by the trolling motor in a millisecond and somehow had my net in my hands ready to defend myself. The little fella was stunned and crawled around for a minute and then flew off but I was now fully alert and awake and in no need of coffee. But I was raised no to waste food so I forced my self to drink it. Oh yeah I even caught some bass.
  12. High school was 4 years that should've been 1.5 years, so much wasted time. Actually got there an hour before school started and pumped iron(for free) or run the track and then walked my now wife to class and if it was a day that ended in Y there was a 11.639% chance I'd leave and go fishing, hunting, or shooting. Monday's were often skipped because my Grandpa was off work.
  13. Cresent compound cutters
  14. Excellent. I'll tie one on for tomorrow.
  15. I just cut _ _ up with my saw zaw and burnt them in my fire pit. I was storing them under my boat on the garage floor and it was getting ridiculous.
  16. My Dobyns Fury MH is a good rod. In fact it's my go to for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Now similar to Captain Phil, I bumped my typical $160 rod limit up and tried a Zodias and now own 3. They're very light and extremely sensitive in my hands but they are fast actions. I've also been impressed with the Daiwa Procyon for $80 and have aquired several.
  17. I've logged and kept it all in my phone for years. Photo of every fish no matter the size or species, primary lures of the day, air temp, water temp. My phone tags the time and location of each photo. It has without a doubt been a beneficial tool on where and what I caught them on in the previous years. Tried the paper log but I will not stop fishing to write while on the boat and my body starts shutting down when I hook up the on board charger in the garage. So no filling out a log before my post fishing coma.
  18. Caught 9 LM & 17 Hybrids Friday on a Rio Rio(Bone) and a CC spoon(chrome). Water temp was 82 and they were in schooling mode.
  19. It's my religion
  20. Couple off sea walls with an H2O popper
  21. I've owned so many great dogs. I miss all that I've lost. I thought I'd reached a point that I could train them to do just about anything. I put out 22 pallets of sod trying to train these girls with no joy. I mean they didn't lay one roll or square.
  22. -Pickups with gun racks in the back windows with real loaded guns which unfortunately had to go away when they quit punishing criminals. -Carrying a knife to school and not being arrested. -Only bank robbers wore a mask while carrying a gun into a bank, now they force me to wear a mask while carrying a gun into a bank. -Dialing 4 digits to make local calls on a rotary phone. -Riding in the back of the truck as a kid. Can't recall the last time I saw that happen.
  23. Had about 10 or 12 swing and miss on my Buzzbait yesterday in choppy conditions. I seriously considered putting a trailer hook or two on my trailer hook.
