Are you using anything from GOOGAN SQUAD?
Nope

Yo, I'm Thoreau. How 'bout you?
Depends. On my 14' jon with the 25 Merc, 80lb Terrova, 15" Solix, 360 Imaging, 12 - 15 rods, and 150 lbs of tackle under the front deck, not so simple. When I sneak along the bank with one rod with a hard bait/frog tied on or a pack of plastics in my back pocket, very simple

Being Safe During Holiday Travel
I'm traveling 5.1 miles and my biggest concern is deer. I only travel over 50 miles from home for fishing and never on a holiday.

Weighted Chin ups. Nice! I used to, back many many years ago, be able to pull 5 quality dead hang reps with 180 lbs hanging from my waist. I was stronger, lighter, faster, and alot less gray. 😁

I took my baby sister trolling for Blues on Sinclair this morning from 8a - 12a. She's allergic to the cold so we got on the water after daylight. I'm thankful of her sensitivity, so I could wade in the light. The lake has been drawn down and it took some pushin & draggin to get the boat out to navigable water. Dropping your trailer tires off the end of the ramp isn't a wonderful way to start a trip. We made it out and I was able to put her on 7 Cats. We had fun and she's already planning our next trip.

Has anyone using speed clips experienced knot chaffing and breakoffs, and is there a better clip for heavier baits like glides that doesn’t have this issue?

Yes. I clip them on every new big hard bait and tie to it when I use that bait. I never take them off/on, which weakens them. I don't use them for quick bait changes. I use them for the improved movement while working the bait. I retie my SDJ knots often and in seconds. Hope that makes sense.

I use Decoy Egg Snaps on all my big hard baits. I put them on every bait and never remove them. Never had a problem with them.

What is this?
Swamp Ape nest? I've been told Swamp Ape scat has fish attracting properties. Whatever it is I'd fish around it good.

@Lottabass Yes sir. I'm shocked that I have any hair on my head after my last two trips with one bass each trip. They're zigging while I'm zagging.
