  1. @Alex from GA Glad you got your new fish finder working and caught a bass. I will only fish public waters on week days (except very cold or rainy days) and private water on the weekend. It's better for my back health and my sanity.
  2. @Darth-BaiterYou sir are a good neighbor. I've never had Stollen but that looks good to me.
  3. My condolences to his family and friends.Tom will surely be missed. His knowledge of bass will live on through so many of us on this forum. What a loss for our community.
  4. When I fish a big mop I leave it full and usually add a 10 or 12" worm. I've swapped back to the creature/craw trailers so I can also catch Spots. The big jig/worm hit to hook ratio wasn't cutting it with their smaller mouths. In LM only lakes I'll have it tied on.
  5. Yes. My wife got me a Calcutta Conquest MD300 XGLH and couple years ago. Yes I was 40 something. I'm a grey bearded 250 lb kid and I'm not changing.
  6. I've caught an handful of good LM on that combo dragging it painfully slow in the dead of winter.

@Smirak Kndly worded DM!? It used to be shirtless lashes with a heavy fast action. 😂
  8. Merry Christmas to the BR family.

It depends if Glenn likes you or not. I've found complements about his mustache help me stay in good standing.
  10. @woolleyfooley Yes sir.
  11. Thanks for the pics. Do you feel bad about shooting somebody's pet goat?😁
  12. I fish two Aldebaran BFS on Dobyns and have zero complaints.
  13. Excellent. Glad y'all had a successful hunt. Like gim I'd like to see some pics.
  14. Venom Nightmare Craw 6.25" and the Magnum Baits Mauler 6.25" are beefy. I fish both on a Gamakatsu EWG 7/0 so it should match a 7/0 jig hook nicely. Don't overlook a big worm.
  15. Travel slowly even if you know the water. Use heavier gear, rod, line, and hooks. I always use a headlamp and have plenty of spare batteries. Only turn the light on after hooking a fish, for the purpose of netting. I normally go big for lure size but it's not always the answer. JUST DO IT!
  16. Yes. Spinnerbait, Buzzbaits, Magnum spoons, big swimbaits, 10xd/8xd sized cranks, etc.
  17. Dwight those bass make your head look underdeveloped. 😁 Nice!

I do everything I can to stay away from buildings that require elevators, like going to town. Usually when I encounter elevators, I'm traveling with the wife and she isn't climbing stairs and her safety is my responsibility so I ride. Sadly my answer is 1.
  19. Certainly neat.
  20. It'll work. Get us some pics.
  21. @Kayak Koz I'm sorry brother but that 1.25 billion is mine.😂 Hotel looks nice. One of these days I'll have to ride out there and meet with you and talk bassin. It's only 30 miles from my castle.
  22. NOT SUGGESTING BREAKING THE LAW! But ghillie suits are wonderful for night excursions, such as testing waters. But it's like they're built to tangle in fences and treble hooks.😄 Seriously, if it's behind two fences , I wouldn't waste your time.
