My goal is to keep my boat wet.

I've had a few days like that while fishing lighter gear. I believe sometimes when you're setting the hook that the jighead is pulling against the clamped lips. You fight the fish a bit, sometimes all the way to the boat and they finally release it. Next trip you'll likely not lose one.

No idea. I'm court ordered to bass fish at least once a week and my PO holds me to it.

Never held a Bass X. But for $75 each I'd get the XH and XXH and you'll be covered.

I use a 7/0 EWG Gamakatsu with the 7 1/8" Sticko for T -Rigging.

I've had 4 - 5 on my boat while bowfishing, they're quick when warm. I learned to use my arrow to remove them.

I personally picked it up thinking it be great for skipping buzzbaits and chatterbaits under docks. Not so much.

My Curado DC is my only reel of 50+ BCers that'll bless me with 3 or 4 unexplained blowups per trip. It's a paper weight to me at this point and gets no more boat rides.
