Strike King Mini King 1/8 isn't too fragile, I caught 9 lb 9oz LM on one using 30lb braid and kept on fishing it. I'm not saying it's BFS.

Jitterbug is good. I'll fish a Musky Jitterbug at night when I need something slower than a Buzzbait and less obnoxious than a big crawler but noisier than a rat. Go lure for lakes? Depends on the lake, species, water temp, clarity, season,.........

Picked a handfull of H2O suspending Jerkbaits for bank fishing where there's little to no chance for retrieving a hung lure. They're fish catchers.

Yes. Several on worms and 3 or 4 on a Musky JitterBug on purpose.

When I hunt bass it's LM and Spots. If I only catch Hybrids and Stripers, I consider that a skunk, albeit a fun skunk.

I fish my 1000 & 2500 Revros along side my Shimano Stradics for 3 years now and they've been flawless.

Fish last night from 8p - 3a and caught two. Bigger one pictured. There's an amazing amout of cicadas on the water.

Friends and buddies can drive themselves and meet you at the lake/pond. They can leave when they get ready, allowing you to keep on fishing. I wouldn't go that route with my wives, girlfriend, or children.
