RW, I'm glad to here of your success. Days like that can be few and far between.

I use Jack's Juice in craw,shad and lizard. It seems to get the fish to hold on a second more, or maybe hold the bait more agressivly allowing for a better hook set. I don't feel that it brings the fish to the bait. One thing I will say, if your fishing a soft plastic in a weed bed,lilly pads or grass. It allows tha bait to slide right in.

A buzzbait is a reaction lure, if there is a bass near by and is able to "lash out" at the buzzbait. You'll catch fish with it. Try slowing the buzzbait way-way down. Try a double buzzer. The "duece" by Strike King would be a good choice. Add a nice big trailer hook to it, you will increase your chances of hooking up with a sluggish bass. This time a year, I would run it tight to cover.

Drums and I elected to go fishing yesterday on what is refered to as "Lake X". We went with two other buddies, 'Bama and "Big Dan". We had to do a little tesspassing to launch our 2 boats into the water. Conditions would be called ( less than favorable ). Mid 40's and a steady wind of 12-15 mph, with gusts over 25 mph. Did I mention rain/drizzle? 3 outa the for fishermen are hung over and the guy I'm fishing with is not what I would call "with it". Until he stuck his first fish of the day, a nice 5 pounder. Spinnerbaits seemed to be the key, he and I landed 5 bass, with 2 over 4 pounds and non under 1 pound. The other boat with Drums and Big Dan landed 7 total bass. Still a great day on the water.

I'm 2 years out as of October 1. I see it like alcohol, I'm a smoker that has been smoke free for 2 years. I still want to smoke at times,but I know just one and it's all over. I smoked for 23 yrs and smoked 2 packs a day for 20 of them. I was up to 3 pack the last 3 years. I quit cold turkey. It was harder that beating drugs and alcohol combined because 7-11 is your dealer,you can do it in front of people and even while driving......................and it is legal.

"DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR CAR!!!!!" I'm a mechanic and let me tell you, that is a bad idea. Modern day cars do not respond well to that. It is also a nice shot to the wallet to replace the converter and or oxygen sensors. Take it to a auto repair or lube place. Someone will take it.

I have one of them in firetiger......... Junk lure. It has caught more fishermen than fish.

Like I said, Drums and I headed out to a private lake and we did pretty good. Srums nailed 2 and I landed 5 and lost 2 at/over 5 pounds....... Anyone every had a trailer hook make your spinner bait weedless and fish proof? I have, and it cost me this years PB.

Look, Drums and I are going out tommorow in 15-20 MPH winds,with gusts up to 30 MPH. We are doing some pond hoping, that way we can fish down wind. LOL. Keep fishing till the bitter end...

Well, in my case it is kinda a joke. I suck at flippin'. I should have been "pitchin4it", seeing how (at times) I'm pretty good at pitchin'. As for the photo, I was hooked on pitchin' a jig at the time. Gerkin Jigs that is.

Listen to what LBH said and take notice of the quote! Fishing is during time you make/set aside. If there is no ice, make time............... Nice fish too.

Drums, I remember reading about this way back in '03. But the cases seemed rare. The question is, mutation? or adaptation because of the massive fish kills in past years? Do they spawn and or produce fish?

As a ASE certified mechanic, here is my .02 . Make sure that your trans fluid is up to par, find a shop that has a BG trans flushing machine and have it flushed. Also make sure and I mean positive that your truck does not "PING" while towing. Other than that my man, you own the truck to tow it with.

LBH, I think our boy Drums is in dire need of the Mojo. I was talking to him this morning about keepin' the faith in "Mojo"! I truely beleive if he held the charm and allowed the Mojo to sink in, he would have Mojo.

Matt Fly. looks like anything good on TV these days is canceled or moved to a time that I can't watch it. I'll need cable TV and a Dish with Teevo just to see any good fishing shows. Sucks.
