Having impure thoughts...
I own a collection of 17 baitcasters and three of them are Pfluegers. The Trion is a great reel, the President and the Summit are ultra smooth... I will buy another Summit and President someday.

Lightest High-speed baitcast reel
I own a Pflueger Summit, 7:1 ratio and weights only 5.9 ounces. It casts like a dream and is the lowest profile of all the reels I own.

Jig Rod: Kistler or Daiwa
I have 3 Kistlers and love them, not saying there's anything wrong with Daiwa's. I pitch jigs with a Kistler Mag TS 7'8 all day flipping stick. It's a incredible rod for the money. I pitch tube's with a Kistler Graphite plus 6'8 heavy action, another great rod for the money. Now I have 3 buddies who love the Daiwa Light N' Tough flippin stick. But 2 of them have broke setting the hook.

If you only had 3 lures in the fall
1. A spinnerbait, 1/2 oz. chrt/wht. Fall is when the spinnerbait bite is at it's best. 2. A t-rigged 4 inch tube. Blk/blu with a 3/8 tungsten weight. 3. A rootbeer colored Senko type bait.

partner or Net Boy? What do you end up being?
For me it's a little of both. I'm a back seater, but I don't look at it a a disadvantage. 1. it's a learning experience. 2. If it's windy, he'l have his hands full with the boat. 3. The tourny I fish is a team effort, so it's even across the board. It is not to his advantage to keep me off the fish.

Rod wraps for rod handles?
I use rod wrap on some of my rods, for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and cranks. I find it to help with maintaining control, seeing how I change hands between the cast and engagement of the reel. Reel Grips seem to help alot too. A cheaper and easly found alternetive is Tennis racket wrap. Wal-Mart, Target and K-mart carry it and comes in alot of different colors.

flipping stick suggestions?
I will second Gopherbass on this one. I love it. It's balanced perfet. Another great flippin stick is the Daiwa Light n' tough.

kistler magnesium or shimano crucial flippin stick
I do agree With Fivebasslimits last post about the tip being a little soft, but this is how I like Flippin sticks to be. Both my Kistler and Grandt Flippin sticks are that way. Never buy any rod without holding it first.

low budget hookers sweatshirts

FINALLY I GOT MY DREAM REEL
Muddy, I own a President, Summit and a Trion. All are killer reels. I hope your dream has come true with that reel. I have nothing bad to say about Pflueger reels. I'm going to own a Supreme soon.

kistler magnesium or shimano crucial flippin stick
I own a Kistler Magnesium and have no complaints. This rod fits all three of the reals I have fitted to it for test fittings or accual fishing. The older Curado, Pflueger Summit and the Johnny Morris of BPS fame. This rod is a killer for the bucks spent. I love it and will purchase a another one soon. I hope it helps.

Check of this huge smalie
OK, I'm going to need some salt , pepper and maybe some ketchup to eat my words. I guess not have seen a "Smallie" of that size and color and the fact that "ALL" digital pictures look funny to me to start with (unless using a high end camera). Fishchris has put an end to my nay-saying ways. I did not intend to start a s#*t storm or put the guy down. For that I'm sorry. Nice fish and I'm green with ***!

Shallow Cranks
I had my best day of fishing last year using a LC Combat SSR Chart w/Blue back. This crank has the most action of any small crank that I have used and it comes over cover great. I was running it over and around weed beds. The only downfall is the small hooks. Use a soft crankbait rod and mono, you'll need it to land anything of size. I think it came out to 13 keepers in 3 hours, not really sure. That day was a blurr, I was having a blast.

Check of this huge smalie
I'm no expert, but. The things that catch my eye are the markings of a spot (more or less)and the color. Oh and the fact the picture looks doctored. I hate to be a "nay sayer", but. A smallie with a gut like that? RW, what are you thinking?

Check of this huge smalie
