  1. Can’t say that I have tried many bags. I used a Oakley back pack for years before switching to this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CGHG95V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 I think I got it for less than $50 in 2019 and have been very happy with it. It still is holding up well.
  2. That is awesome! Glad you had a great day and built some confidence. It is one of my favorite techniques but have not tried the stunna yet. I need to pick a few up! I keep hearing good things.
  3. Half on and never have to mess with them after that.
  4. The guys is just asking a question and gets made fun of. I thought the purpose of these forums was to share knowledge and experience with people, not make them feel bad for asking questions.
  5. I give them the 90% of my business because of there great customer service. Love there premium membership for the free shipping and 10% cash back and there is always coupons available.
  6. OG Slim and a Little John produced throughout the fall for me.
  7. Powerpro for me. Have never felt the need try anything else because it has been so reliable for me. Reading everyone else’s comments makes me curious about about Suffix 832 and x9 though…
  8. I have used PoP but didn’t like it much. Durhams water putty dries harder and shrinks less and I still have a couple of those molds. I have also used silicon caulk. The molds turn out pretty decent but it is hard to work with and you have to make sure you get the right kind of silicon. I eventually went to some of the pourable silicons that Alumilite makes when Hobby Lobby had a 40% off coupon. Those worked great and I still use them on occasion. Each of these methods I learned about on YouTube. There are tons of videos that are really helpful.
  9. I went to my account to take a screen shot and my cart total now says $62, which is up from my total at check out yesterday. So 8 guess they did charge me shipping ?.
  10. Same but did you mean Japan Angler Shop?
  11. I spent a little over $50 and got free shipping. Weird that isn’t working for you.
  12. I can’t get a bite on a chatter bait. I probably need to put some more time into it but my time on the water has been limited. Hopefully this year I can make it happen.
  13. If a decent and dependable reel is what you are looking for and you are only fishing summers the K may be a good choice. I have 5 Curado Ks and have not had any issues at all. The K is a bit heavier and won’t cast the lighter lures like the more expensive reels, but they are solid, tried and true. But honestly at only $10 more, the 150 MGL needs to be strongly considered. I assume it will be just as dependable as the my Ks, Chronarchs, and Metanium, but I have only had it for a month so time will tell for sure, Now If money is not an issue, just go with the Metanium.
  14. I save all my plastics, cut them into small pieces, and separate them into like colors. When I am ready to make a batch, i usually mix the small pieces in with some fresh plastisol and will add some heat stabilizer.
  15. I like the Plano 3700, but not for terminal. I use the H20 Express and the G Box for terminal. The express is on sale for 14.99 right now. https://gamakatsu.com/product/g-box-utility-case-3700/ https://www.academy.com/p/h2o-xpress-premium-terminal-tackle-utility-box?sku=blue-gray
  16. I have heard people talk about this but honestly I have never noticed a difference, perhaps because I tend to move it a lot quicker as the water warms. I am interested to hear everyone’s opinion though...will stay tuned in
  17. Me too, and I dont have any complaints!
  18. I think I have had mine for about a year and a half and it is still as smooth as the day I pulled it out of the box.
  19. I remember Tackle Advisors on YouTube recommended this also. I also remember it being pretty expensive and sure enough when I checked amazon it was 42 bucks for 2 ounces. I will have to keep an eye out for a sale.
  20. I have had a lot of success deep cranking from my kayak but be prepared for your kayak to be pulled by the crankbait. I generally don't bother using my anchor to keep me in place. Instead I use my rudder to my advantage to move me in the direction I want. I have been able to circle a target and hit it from multiple angles before needing my paddle to reposition myself. Hopefully that make sense the way i described it. Also, I am able to flip and pitch from a seated position in my kayak but it is much easier with a shorter rod which for me is about 7'0".
  21. I use green floral wire too. I just wrap above the rubber a couple of times.
  22. Most used is a Chronarch MGL on and Expride 6’10” medium/ fast. Love this set up but on occasions I will use a spinning rod.
