Johnny Morris bought the Champion plant, re-tooled it, and now makes Tritons there. Stratos is also history.

3 Top Ranger Execs Resign
About one mile from the Ranger plant there now exists a boat manufacturer by the name of Vexus. Any past or present Ranger employees wondering whatever happened to their former co-workers should take a guided tour of the Vexus plant. From top management to the production line, Vexus is well staffed with former Ranger employees. By the way, I love my Vexus VX21 fiberglass bass boat.

Thankyou, Big Rick.- How do you repair a hollow body frog?

At what water temperature do Bass vacate the shallows?- Eating Smallmouth First Time In 15 Years...
Agreed! I hope I never get so hungry that I would even consider killing a smallmouth for food. Why kill the greatest fighting sportfish in fresh water, which are the object of my passion?- How to add wire tie?
Use fluorocarbon line and a simple granny knot; you already have it on hand. Quick, easy, works great, don't worry about the correct guage or color of wire.- Your Total Years
Began at the age of 2, sitting on my grandmother's lap on the bank of a small creek behind the house. Tackle consisted of a broken off tree branch with a short string, hook, small stick for a bobber, hook, and a worm; caught creek chubs and small bullheads. That was in 1944. Dad came home from the War in 1946 and my angling experiences with him moved me up to catfish and bass. Today, at the age of 79, I'm continuing to upgrade and expand my collections of lures and tackle which fill my house, garage and new $100,000 bass boat. 77 years of fishing and still looking ahead.- Buying first boat
Agree with TOXIC. Definitely buy from the dealership you prefer for service. Check them out.- Year in review
No wonder it's getting worse, you're killing each one you catch.- Bass Recipes
Catch and release Bass fishing is No Kill Hunting.- Bass Recipes
Bass which are caught and released are easiest to digest, while Bass on a plate turn my stomach. Why kill the object of my favorite sport?- Lowrance Ghost Anchor Lock Control
I have a 21 ft Vexus fiberglass boat with Lowrance electronics. When in Anchor Lock position, my boat moves around considerably more than my friend's Ultrex when in Spotlock on the same boat model. Hopefully some of the Bass Resource readers have encountered a similar situation and are willing to share how they solved it.- If you could have any baitcasting reel
Daiwa Zillion SVTWG if I outlive all the backorder extensions.- Kinnelon NJ
I actually have some "jointed Rapalas", but never heard them called "split back".- Kinnelon NJ
What is a split back Rapala??- Why on the earth my brand new Antares spooling like this?
- To the best of your memory, what was the lure you caught your first bass on?
Yellow River Runt or a Tin Liz, don't remember which one; it was in the 1940's. - Micro Guides on baitcasting rods.
