  1. I used to put them on a shelf in the garage. I could get tomatoes to ripen for weeks after frost. Put several layers of newspapers under them because some will go bad and leak.
  2. That is exactly what I was thinking.
  3. I’m liking the Chief’s first half even if Mahomes isn’t throwing up to his usual standard.
  4. I use mostly silver willows but also have some with chartreuse, orange and red Colorado blades.
  5. I make mine so they vary. I don’t usually use them until December or later.
  6. I feel your pain. When I did the reloading I too kept a 3 ring binder. That way I could take it to the range and have all of the info with me and put shot grouping in it. My grandson grew up to be a swat sniper and has taken over all of the reloading so I gave him the book along with the dies and powder.
  7. I have slept several nights in the back of my truck in the launch area parking lots. Wake up take a leek and launch the boat.
  8. I think you are over thinking.
  9. I will leave the position to others. The one thing I will suggest is get a transducer mounting board and secure it to the boat above the water line. Then mount the transducer to it. That way you will be able to move the transducer without drilling holes in the boat below the water line. Lund used to send on with all of their new boats. It was a great idea.
  10. Don’t forget Elaztech worms.
  11. My go to is Shimano. I have them in 3 sizes and 3 or 4 models. I don’t know how many I have but I normally keep 10 in the boat.
  12. It depends on how you fish. I had both. My power poles seldom got any use as the boat was too deep for them. They are now in a new home in Houston Texas. Now my spot lock on the other hand gets used many times on most trips. The spot lock jog is the best thing since Coors Lite.
  13. Lately white has been superior to black. Method... chunk and wind as close to cover as possible.
  14. I wish it were so. The water is still warm and the will still be coming.
  15. There is only one way to know, go use it. What is good for one person isn’t necessarily the right setup for another one. I personally like my spinnerbait rods to be on the stiff side.
  16. You should take a look at smalljaws video on locking a spinnerbait blade.
  17. You must not have many rocks where you are as we have down here. Retying a bait was never the issue for me as I had to retie the leader. I rarely had a break off at the bait. Mine came at the braid/leader knot. I used the Albright, uni to uni, Alberto, and others. I was using 30# braid with 12-17# leaders. I wasted the better part of a year. I finally gave up and went back to lines other than braid. Good luck. I hope your experience is better than mine.
  18. I need all of them in my arsenal so I carry 10 setups of each.
  19. Yes red. I want mine to look slightly hungover so they will be easy prey.
  20. Mine is going to be spent indoors with the AC on 90° and sunny is not my cup of tea.
  21. A couple of things you might consider; Ned rig with Zman TRDs and fluorocarbon line. That combination sure has been good for me the last several years.
  22. I have one of them around here somewhere. I haven’t seen it in years. My daughter bought it for me. I found it to be bothersome so I quit using it.
  23. X2 on the jitterbug. If there are any bass there you will find out with a black jitterbug.
  24. Just send it to the Chiefs and be done with it.
  25. The visibility changes in the lakes that I fish by where I am. Down towards the dam the water is normally clear with visibility 6-10 feet in the early spring. It normally is less in the summer. As I motor up stream the water starts changing getting more dingy. The farther up the rivers that I go the visibility decreases. Yesterday I was fishing up a river. I was catching bass on a bleeding shad spinner bait and a white buzz bait. I worked my way up to where visibility was maybe a foot. Both baits produced in both locations. I was alternating with a black buzz bait in both areas. The black never even got a hit. I pay little attention to water color vs bait color. My philosophy is change and keep throwing until something works.
