  1. A pic or drawing would help me visualize your solution.
  2. I looks a bit like viral hemorrhagic septicemia to me but I am not a biologist.
  3. No. When I use braid I use 30 and 50#.
  4. Yes it will change. Even an inch or so will make a change.
  5. The easy way is to raise your motor one hole and test it.
  6. The slider is what I have used the last 3 trips. It has produced a mixed bag of 149 fish on those trips (black bass, white bass and crappie). I got 2 packs of everything that they make in every color that they offer a while back. Next to the Ned it is my go to light tackle bait.
  7. I prefer the closed eye for longevity but I really like War Eagle a d they don’t seem to use anything except the R wire. So I wrap the R with braided line to hold it. This seems to double the life expectancy of them.
  8. If you don’t have light wire hooks get some.
  9. Nice looks full of eggs. Ours here are just starting egg development. They won’t have bellies like that for months.
  10. I put a slight bend in my bladed jigs and haven’t had trouble with them. I fish them on 7 and 8:1 reels.
  11. I don’t know what your regd are but here in MO you can only give fish to someone when you are done for the day. If you give any away and keep fishing you are illegal and subject to a fine.
  12. Do yourself a favor and go to tackle under ground and spend some time in the soft baits forum. There is a wealth of knowledge just waiting for you.
  13. I use them without a trailer. Mine are not traditional. I rarely let mine touch the bottom. I swim them with twitches. One of my best colors is silver and red closely followed by purple and orange.
  14. That TU OU game was butt ugly.
  15. Good luck. Plan to spend time and money. Cnc molds make shiny baits. Cast molds do not. Bass tackle, Angling AI make good molds. Tackle under ground has a section called don’ts for newbies. It is worth the read. A good mold will run you $100 to $250 for multi cavities. Your old plastics will remelt but be careful mixing colors or you will end up with brown. Don’t try to melt Elaztech baits. They aren’t pvc like soft most soft plastics.
  16. I use so many different hook sizes 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0 that the color code simplifies my selection.
  17. I fish them to 20’ all the time using 1/16 and 3/32 oz heads.
  18. I use Zeros, jigs, and Ned rigs no matter what season and water temperature.
  19. I use 3 different styles of shaky heads. I make my own and color them by head size black 1/8, green 1/4, brown 3/8. That way there is no guessing as to what I am picking out of the shaky head box.
  20. I had a great top water day one year on Christmas Eve.
  21. If you have an inflatable pfd it must be worn at all times or it isn’t legal in MO.
  22. One of mt brothers had it done a while back. It seemed to be a routine procedure. Best of luck bud.
