  1. Adjust it a little tighter on the spool knob. They aren’t all the same. I have 2 Curado DCs, one is by the book while the other needs more adjustment using the same line, same casting plug and matching rods.
  2. That is a Pitzen just doubling the line. I don't double the line. I do 5 wraps no matter the line type or size. The difference between the SD Jam and Pitzen is the loop at the bait, Jam go through Pitzen don’t go through.
  3. Around here bucktail jigs seem to work better than maribou. Some guys prefer craft hair jigs but I only like them for float n fly.
  4. If it were 1 and not one type, I’d want a hard floater so Zara Spook for me. If you mean one type then plastic worms.
  5. What do you mean selling without the pink slip? If you are talking selling without a title, don’t. You will open a big old can of worms.
  6. Seibert, Cadman, Smalljaw or Munkin can probably fix you up.
  7. I Trig them as well as use them as jig trailers.

I don’t, but I have reused old plastic. You have to have bunch so you don’t mix colors. Mixing colors will end up brown.
  9. I use a knot that is similar to the San Diego Jam. It is the Pitzen. It is easy and quick. I use it with all lines. I even tie it with gloves on in the winter.
  10. X2 bend the blade.
  11. Bite the bullet. Take it to a repair shop.
  12. So what’s it called?
  13. I haven’t even considered doing that. I take my boat in every fall have the fluids changed and the motor, boat and trailer inspected. I can’t even remember the last time I had a motor that wouldn’t start.
  14. I just bought a 150 dc from Midway USA. They are in Columbia MO.
  15. I doubt you could cast a 1/8 oz bait with a mh rod and 12# line, no matter what reel you have. I use mh, 12# line, Curado dc for 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz jigs, as well as 3/8 and 1/2 oz buzz and spinner baits.
  16. That speed is perfect for Arigs with 50 to 65# braid.
  17. Me too, Gloomis imx 843c mh wIth a Curado 150 DC and 15# fluorocarbon line.
  18. I bought a spare pin at Bass Pro Service Center when the little ball came out of mine. I back my trailer into parking spots with a tire firmly pressing against one of the concrete parking blocks. I don’t think anyone will be able to get it.
  19. I have a new truck with cameras all over it. There is not a camera view that helps with backing the boat. The side mirrors are the only things that help with this job. However, it is absolutely great for hooking the trailer to the ball.
  20. I have a bunch of vinyl from an old tonneau cover. I cut out 10 bait wraps, took them to a local upholstery shop and they sewed velcro on them. They even provided the velcro and charged me $3 each. I keep them on treble hook baits and all of my rods are in sleeves.
  21. Mine are never straight. I bring the hook out the underneath side of the worm, glue it to the head, take the hook through the worm, back it up and skin hook it. That puts a hump in it.
  22. You are spot on. 20% in year one an additional 15% in year two. Then like 13 to 14% in year three.
  23. I got a DC for father’s day. I like it well enough that I bought a second one this week.
  24. I’d be finding something else to spend the $60 on.
