  1. Definitely the Strike King Zero has been my best fished on my stand up leggy jig.
  2. I use acetone to clean bearings. I soak them in it. Dry them thoroughly. Then I put a drop of oil on them and reinstall them. I use reel kleen on the outside of the reels and on the rods.
  3. You can use powder paint by tapping with a brush. Heat the spoon and dip the brush in the powder. Hold it over the spoon and tap the brush with your finger. You can do multiple colors and accents with this method.
  4. Have you considered hiring a walleye guide?
  5. Looks like you did good work there ib. My honey do stuff is in progress at the farm. It includes 2 miles of barbed wire fence and hanging 6 new gates.
  6. I use fluorocarbon mostly; 6# for Ned, 10# for cranks, 12# for jigs, and 15# for spinnerbaits.
  7. 1/16 and 3/32 are the weights that I use the most no matter the depth. I use the Midwest Finesse head that I pour.
  8. It looks like out of balance issue to me.
  9. Yep. It has been my best producer for the last month. I’m pretty sure I have at least 3 tied on right now.
  10. Both buy and make
  11. I only like to eat quail so fishing for me because it is nearly impossible to do catch and release when hunting.
  12. Yep. That is the way I launch. I unhook in the parking lot back down, float the boat, go park. Same loading, load the boat, go to the parking lot and hook everything up. Maybe 30 seconds to launch and maybe 45 to load. I have been doing this for at least 15 years. When my wife is along, she drives the boat launching and loading. When she loads, I drive to the nearest restroom and hook things up while she uses the facility.
  13. Great and our summer heat wave is gone, just need some rain.
  14. You bet they do. But the Chargers weren’t slouchy with that rookie QB. I bet Tie Rod has a tough time getting his job back.
  15. No you aren’t. If I think that their hooks aren’t good enough then why would I waste money on their baits.
  16. Yes it is coming. I was out Friday evening and never saw a tuber or skier and only one jet ski. It will really be good when the hunters head for the woods instead of the lake.
  17. We have oak timber interspersed with red cedar. I hunt openings in crossings. We have used 308, .30-06, .30-30, .25-06, 280, 270, 243 and 257 Roberts. I prefer my 257 Roberts with a 100 grain hand load. My son-in-law has settled on 270 and my grandson uses his 308 because he has the capability of shots to 650 yards (SWAT sniper).
  18. Couldn’t you swap the electronics from your boat to the one that has birds, and go for the bigger boat.
  19. I make mine and they float. I nose hook them with a wacky hook.
  20. If you could get someone to go with you, you could have them take care of the truck and trailer. They could back in and you load experimenting with various trailer depths until you find the best one for loading. What could take you days or weeks by yourself might be done in a matter of minutes with a driver. Just be sure that you pick a slow time for launching and loading at the ramp so you won’t be in anyone’s way.
  21. I fry them in my Fry daddy as I am cooking fish. I like them but not as well as I like fried cucumbers.
  22. Green pumpkin/black flake Green pumpkin/red flake Watermelon/red flake Black Pumpkin seed
  23. I used to put them on a shelf in the garage. I could get tomatoes to ripen for weeks after frost. Put several layers of newspapers under them because some will go bad and leak.
