Bait Cast Reel Sizes You Use Most ?
Right now I am using my 70s mostly. They are my shaky and Ned setups and that is what is working now. The 150 and 200s are patiently waiting for their time to come.

Stores Being Bought Out.
I don’t see anyone buying BPS in John L’s lifetime. Maybe after he’s gone. He’s a big duck in our little Missouri puddle and loves it.

Life Jacket
When I needed a new one I asked a friend who works for the Corps of Engineers what they use. He said they were furnished with the best Mustang out there. He said he can work all day long with it on. I figured that would be the way to go so I have one and wear it all the time.

New to fish finders, Help me
It takes movement of the boat to make an arch. A still boat and a still fish makes a flat line. The 83 kHz will show a bigger area but I don’t know how much.

New to fish finders, Help me
If it is using a 200 kHz transducer then you typically get a circle which has a diameter of approximately 1/3 of the depth.

Anyone have experience with Perfection Lures sure hook set Shakey head jigs?
My experience is that every fish that I have caught on them has been hooked in the top of the mouth. They make most any plastic bait stand up and don’t get hung up very bad. It has become my go to shaky jig.

Advice for Wiring Bow Fish Finder
It is not a good idea to use your trolling motor battery for your depth finder. Trolling motors cause lots of electrical interference. It should be wired directly to your boat motor cranking battery. Be sure to put the fuse that came with the depth finder in the line.

Thinking about making my own soft plastics
Plan on spending several hundred dollars to get set up very well. You need a lot of stuff in order to do much. Just getting set up to pour tubes cost me $300. There are lots of good bait making sites where you can get valuable information. Tackle under ground has a don’ts for newbies that can prove invaluable for you.

Bow to stern is a polymer sealant. It seals the pores in the gel coat, but it takes 3 coats to do it. Then every few months a fresh coat on a clean boat.
