Joining a bass club with lots of good fishermen exposed me to a multitude of techniques and equipment in a short time.

Hair Jigs
I tie my own. I make a lot of different colors. I mix crystal flash in most of mine. I don’t use trailers. I use light weight most of the time as I swim twitch them in shallow water. My best all time day time is a blue and white with red chennile. My best night color is navy blue and orange.

Why so much Red and Maroon on Bass Boats?
That means you probably wouldn't like my boat or truck. My boat is a red and silver Nitro Z20 and my truck is a red double cab Ford F250.

Dumb Question
I just practice it on real ones in the lake, no brush to get rid of. Why not throw a bait through tree limbs.

Ned Rig Conbo?
That sounds like it will work. All of my Ned setups are shorter than my power setups. That is just the way I like it. My experience with lines comes from fishing with several other guys. I have found that those who don’t use fluorocarbon get to watch me catch more fish than them. Based on that I recommend you use a fluorocarbon leader.

Loose Teeth In Table Saw Blade
I’d try MNFISHER’S idea. I bought 900’ of 3 1/2” steel pipe and cut into 7’ lengths for posts with that type of blade and a chop saw from Harbor Freight.

How many years should a starting or trolling battery last?
Six years is a good run. The trolling motor batteries will usually drop in power and not last all day when they are near the end. Your cranker may get weak and make your motor hard to start or it might just fail.

Rods - Big company scale advantage or small company overhead advantage?
When you are referring to rod companies do you mean brands or manufacturers?
-
Buy with higher hours or rebuild?
I put 800 hours on my last motor. It was going strong when I traded ot off. I’d have the motor checked out by a good mechanic to be sure that it was sound.

I’ve gotten the flyer a couple of times. I haven’t seen anything in it to make me drive the 9 miles.

Kayak Trailer do we pay launch fee
- Biffle HardHead Jigheads
Like Blue I pour my own. I’ve tried most sizes but use 1/4 to 1/2 most of the time. My favorite baits on them are Paca craw juniors and Gene Larew salt craws.- Releasing Pet Bass
- Reels
I used to work on them as soon as I got them. Today’s Shimanos work well enough for me out of the box.- Length of Rod for Neds
All of my Ned setups are around 6’. I can cast them plenty far where I fish. I am a line watcher and this length works best for me.- Need help decided which boat quickly
The semi v is not going to be as stable as the jon.- How did most of you start?
I started with a 12’ styrofoam canoe. Then a 16’ richline aluminum with a 9 horse Merc. - Biffle HardHead Jigheads
