There should be no problem with three cranks as you stated.

When I called Dual Pro about that very thing as I was planning a long winter vacation. I was told that it was not a good idea to leave it on for an extended time without someone checking the batteries every few weeks to be sure that they weren't low on fluid.

There are lots of ways to heat the heads for individuals without going to much expense. Some guys do it with a propane torch while others use a heat gun. I use a toaster oven so I can heat up a dozen at a time instead of just one. I keep the paint out of the eye of the hook with the pliers that I use to dip the jig. Just take a cheap pair of needle nose and hold the jig by the eye instead of the hook. Also only heat the jig head to the point that paint goes on and is dull and still powdery. That is a real thin coat and won't run into the eye when you hang it to bake on the finish. My heat gun came from Harbor freight for $10. My toaster oven cost $5 at a garage sale.

I tried every digital I could find and gave up on them because of inconsistent readings. I bought a Boga Grip and haven't looked back.

The really good ones provide a boat with deferred payment for 1 year. Then the new boat comes and last year's boat is due and payable upon delivery of the new one. There are few people who realistically expect to get the asking price for a boat or car. I'd pick a number and go with cash in hand. Green stuff has a way of making a deal.

If the pings bothered the fish enough to turn off the unit, lots of Table Rock guides would starve because their bread and butter is drop shotting or spooning where they can see the fish and the baits.

Sometimes I can actually see fish on my unit but down scan instead of 2d sonar. Here are some pics that I have captured. I think this was a big old walleye under a school of shad. These are white bass by some shad. I caught 6 of them. Here is a shot of a paddle fish swimming under the boat. I'm pretty sure this is a big old flathead cat.

That depends on what type of lights you have. If they are not sealed then yes. Mine are sealed and I never unplug them as long as the trailer is hooked to the truck.

I have never used any of the brand name sticks. I make my own and can control color and sink rate with the amount of salt.

I may have as few as 3 or as many as 9 depending on what I am doing. I don't like to retie so if I am fishing laydowns I need a bunch.

I've ridden in both brands the Triton will probably outrun the Ranger but Tritons can be squirrely with a lot of chine walking. You can't beat the fishing platform of a Ranger.

XR6 is carb and they typically are a bit hard on gas. If it were me, I'd take a look a them and see how the storage boxes, rod locker, and deck work out for you equipment and style of fishing. Something else to consider is the dual vs single console. I hate fishing with guys who only have a single console. If you haven't done so already, go to www.nadaguides.com and look up both units and see what the average retail is for them. Just off the top of my head the listed prices seem a bit high.

I went to the Spfd. MO BPS on a sunny day and talked with "Katie the Costa Lady". I looked at all the brands and styles the had. Then we took some and went out into the parking lot and I tried all of them on. I wound up choosing the blue glass lens and headed on a road trip. I could not see the gps on the windshield more than 10% of the time. When I returned home I went back to BPS and told them about it. They said pick another pair and suggested the 580P with amber lens. They are the only glasses of any kind that I have been able to put on and keep on all day long without a head or nose ache. I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat.

The fish I keep to eat run in schools and we have a limit of 15 so it the other guy is my wife or s-i-l I may have 30 to clean when I get off the water. I like to move over to the side and clean mine at the lake so the excess can be used by birds and other fish instead of winding up in the landfill. For that reason and being too lazy to use my Rapala, I have been using a cordless for at least 10 years. The one I use is no longer available unless Cabela's still has a few. When it dies I'll be looking for another cordless. BTW: I also have a sharpener for the blades so dulling is not a problem. You might want to look into one of them if you clean a lot of fish.

Main point is really a (main lake point); a point that is in the main body of water. A secondary point is one inside a cove or bay, at least around here.

Outside I use Totally Awesome from Dollar General. Inside I use paper towels and Qtips. The bearings I soak in naptha before I reoil them.

I'd guess it is a secondary point since it doesn't look like you are on the main lake. How I'd fish it would depend on the depth of the water, speed and direction of the wind and the time of year.
