Boat Steering Help
I'm sorry for not defining deep, but $1000 is very deep in my pockets.

Spun A Hub
Some times it can be a bear to remove. Just keep chipping away is all I know to do. Before the new hubs you had to have them taken out at a shop and new ones pressed in. That was really time consuming and quite expensive.

Spun A Hub
If you mean the plastic part, I used a wood chisel, a flat screw driver and a rubber hammer when I spun mine. Once I split a side it just popped out.

Lowrance Mark 5X Pro Help
Your specs could be a lot of different things. In order to make a guess we need to know more about your installation: What battery is the unit hooked to, where is the transducer, how are your wires run, are any other electronics present?

If you convert to hydraulic you better dig deep into your pocket.

Lure That Catches Most Of Your Big Fish 7+ Lbs
I don't think there is a magic bait for big fish. I have caught them on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, worms and jigs. However, when I go for big fish I use the largest Gene Larue salt craw as a trailer on a jig. I prefer a brown rubber jig with a plumb colored craw.

T-Rig Tubes
Have you tried using a bell sinker inside the tube? I do this sometimes and put the hook through the eye of the sinker. It holds the tube very well and I don't have a sinker hanging on stuff.

How Often Do You Switch Your Lures During A Day Of Fishing?
Like fishes in trees I have many setups in the boat and at least 10 out when by myself. If I am not on fish or at least have an idea what has been working, I make 5 casts then change until something gets bit. Then I can think about color, size, similar bait that might work better and a better presentation. I like it when I get bit on the first bait that I use.

Need Spinnerbait/crankbait Help
Try your spinnerbaits early and late. Just after dawn or just before dark and see if you can get bit. I usually have the spinnerbait in the box before 10 am and it stays there until just before dark.

Battery For Fish Finder
Guys who take their sonar/gps units into the house and need a 12v power supply typically use a lawn mower or motor cycle battery. Sonars don't draw much juice so hooking it up to the trolling motor battery should not be a problem if your trolling motor battery has many reserve amps.

Do You Use Only Baitcasters Or Spinning Or Both
I carry 18 setups and 11 are spinning. They are used for plastics and light weight jigs and small tops and cranks. I use the 7 bc reels of the heavier baits.

Trailor Center Cap Help
If it is an Eazy Loader trailer then they are more than likely made by Unique Functional Products. You can look them up on the net and order one or call Eazy Loader and see if they have one. Inside the front of the trailer frame is a tag with the info on it.

The disconnected oil injector makes the motor suspect. There is no good reason for a person to disconnect one unless he has had trouble. You better have a tech look to see if there is any scoring in the cylinders or if the motor has been rebuilt.

Dragging Skeg
There are lots of guys around who repair motor oops. I just had my cavitation plate fixed from a submerged tree taking a chunk out of it. You can't tell it from new.

Advice On Tracker Boats
I recommend that you look at some other brands before you jump into a purchase of a Tracker. Look into Xpress which rides like a glass boat, Lowe and GIII just to name a few. They cost more but are better boats. Also be advised that Tracker Marine is geared to first time buyers who don't have boating experience so they downsize everything and get you in cheaper but not necessarily better. Most all of their boats have too small of an outboard, too weak of a trolling motor and the cheapest electronics out there. Another thing to look for is the engine. Don't let them pawn a Force off on you and call it a Mercury because it isn't.

A couple of grand over the nada would be possible if it is cherry. I seriously doubt the 70+ mph but I have been surprised before. The 48# thrust tmotor is way too small.

Talking While Fishing
I don't like to fish with people who talk a lot. It is distracting and I want to put all my concentration into knowing when I get a pickup. I also don't look more than a few feet above the waterline so I never see the eagles, etc.
