Diversity is the spice of life... you need to buy more in different colors!

"Upgrade your Split Rings". Yeah right. Whatever...
A bbz-1 is definitely a budget swimbait.... I never have to worry because I don't catch big fish.

Eastern PA Fishing Reports
Hitting Beltzville for the 4th time in the past week tomorrow morning. Usually 3 hour stints, 3am - 6am. I have only caught a few small ones....hopefully tomorrow is the day!

Mystery Lure (B) on Bottom
You should ask some Muskie guys - looks like an older Muskie lure.

Missile baits nedball, pretty funny
That's what is funny about this whole ned craze...its not new. The newest most innovative thing about it is the Elaztech worms used. I was fishing ballhead jigs with curly tailed grubs 20 years ago in the spring. And I surely knew it wasn't innovative.

Giving props to our southern anglers!
I absolutely hate this heat. Once it gets over 55 I am miserable.

Manually closing spinning reel bail
I started doing it when I was young to stop the line from uncoiling after the lure hit the water and to stop the lure in midair where I wanted it to land. It was always just a natural thing to me and I hated those reels. I would have rather used a zebco.

If you could only have one..
I can't pick one. Part of the allure of fishing to me is having lots of choices...

I realized my deep crank game was pretty weak this past week. I have about 100 cranks for fishing 0-12 feet and then a handful to go beyond that. I lost 2 of them to some snags so needed a few more. It isnt a technique that happens all too often for me though... Also got some hooks to replace all the ones my friend lost to snags. Lol

Frog, Popper, Plopper... Yes. Spook... Nope
I walk the dog with poppers quite often. Lol I find that spook style baits need to be worked a lot faster than other top waters to illicit a strike. On those I am almost burning it across the water with a pause thrown in here and there.

Fanally caught bass on the WACKY RIG
I don't consider fishing a wacky rig or senko 5"+ finesse fishing... If you don't slow down and do some finesse fishing up here in the Northeast, you would get skunked more than not.

Megabass vision 110 hooks
I use Daichii death trebles and they will bend out before breaking. I have a post where I was weighing hooks and they are the same weight. The katsuage hooks are garbage - Plain and simple

Megabass vision 110 hooks
This makes them garbage. Sorry.

Culling tackle
How? How on earth do you get rid of that bag of plastics you bought back in 1997 that you have never used and if you have never caught a fish on? How? What if I am fishing and that bag of plastics is the absolute ticket that day and I need it? How do I get rid of a lure I have never used and is guaranteed to catch me my pb 10 years down the road? How do you know what to purge? How?

New Daiwa Products....
I am just quoting the comments I see all the time. I never have a problem and run braid to leader and a good majority of my reels are t-wings.

Megabass vision 110 hooks
Their hooks are and always have been garbage in my opinion. Besides being those odd katsuage outbarbs they don't seem very strong.

Eastern PA Fishing Reports
Fished in the Wednesday night Lunkers tourney at Nock tonight. Caught 2 fish, an almost 3 pounder and a 2 pounder...in the first hour. Then the engine died and we had to paddle the boat back for the next hour and a half.
