Might want to check out Australian Shepherds. We have a yr old male that is the BEST and SMARTEST dog I've ever been around. VERY easy to train, loyal, obedient, good natured. He loves the boat and being close. He's only a year old but he amazes me every day. He is a large Aussie at 80 lbs and still filling out. We are actually considering adding a 3rd Aussie to our family right now. This one a female. The other is a toy (17 mo old and 13lbs) Here's a pic of my pride and joy, Barkley

Nice fish George! I can't wait to feel that tug on the end of the line. Surface temp on Ky Lake is hanging around 40. Air temp of 46 today. Might be time to put on the under armour and give the ole jerk bait a try. 5 months off the water is about to get the best of me. Thanks for the post!!!

well...........it's not looking good right now. :-/ The demands of the new job would restrict us to just being there on Wed. Now, the Ladies Trail Pro/Am is May 6-7th on Ky Lake (yes, I'm considering fishing it) . There is a mandatory meeting Wed at 10 am. We had been planning on being there until this career opportunity presented itself. Guess we'll just have to give it a little while and see how things play out.

Do you have an ETA on that package? I'm have EMT's on standby

Haven't been out but once but I heard of some good catches on the edges of the main lake flats throwing a rattle trap. 19lbs sack up towards the dam. Good Luck!!!

There's no such thing as a better than expected 883, those things are awful from the showroom floor. Has to be the worst riding least comfortable bike I have ever had the misfortune of being on. Mine came with a Sundowner seat. Very comfy!!!! My 1200 also has a Sundowner. Greg's came from the showroom and had a Sundowner put on before it left the showroom!!!!

Wish we could dispense some of those "drugs" at the clinic where I'm clinical director. No we don't dispense narcotics but so many people are wanting pills to fix their depression. I know some depression is real but so much could be improved by a change in attitude!

Uh.....that would be my '06 Harley Davidson 883. It was a sweet little bike. We spoke to the seller AFTER putting down the deposit. Took the rest in cash to the pickup of the bike. The bike turned out even better than we had hoped. It took us about 5 hrs to make the drive to pick it up and didn't get nervous till we were on the road. Price was just under $6,000. Got that much out of it when we traded her in for an '08 1200 Harley

Thanks for the "welcomes". Things have been wonderful. Busy as most people are. Greg and I have our painting business and have stayed covered up with work. I'm clinical director of our local community clinic and absolutely LOVE it. Then we have the really fun stuff. Taking the Ranger out every chance we get, cowboy action shooting a few times a month, and not to forget riding the two Harleys and most importantly, being married to my best friend.....LIFE IS GOOD! Kent, you are welcome at our home anytime. I figure about the time the bite gets good, we'll call, you'll get here and an acute case of lock-jaw will set in with the fishes But I'm sure Greg can fire up the BigGreenEgg and put out a really good meal for 'ya!

Well boys......go ahead and make your bets, on whatever you choose to bet on. Lose what you can afford and gain whatever you are fortunate enough to win. The fact remains, some women (just like some men)will, can and do fish. Some are more successful than others. Some egos will get stepped on. Some dreams will come true. Ladies are here to stay. I've fished tournaments for 17 yrs. Ladies tournaments, couples tournaments, team tournaments. Why? I fish because I ENJOY it! I fish where I want, when I want and with whom I want. Why? Because it's what makes me happy. Why else be out there???? Reading and listening to some of the male comments makes me so proud to have the support of my husband. :-* He knows that females can fish and do very well at it. Just wondering why was this moved to the Ladies.....seems like many men are interested in this topic???? Way to go Pam!!!!!

First, THANKS to Glenn and Keri for recognizing the need for this. Hi, I'm from SW Kentucky and have been tournament fishing KY and Barkley Lakes for 17 or so years now. I fish with a ladies club locally and Greg and I fish a couples club too. Occasionally we will fish other tournaments as well. When not fishing a tournament, I love to launch the Ranger and get out in the front yard (Blood River) as much as possible.
