  6. We've had an unusually wet summer and it has helped with the temperature some. Winter is the wet season here and summer is the hot and dry time. So far it has rained every day for the last week.

  8. If you could only have one lure to fish with, what would you use? I'd choose a black/blue dead ringer 4in.worm. I've caught a wide variety of fish on them(bass, crappie, rainbow trout..etc)

  16. I used large screws made for metal to mount my bases to the aluminum deck. Maybe I can explain what I mean, they're not self tapping, just large screws made to be used on metal. The ones I used have at least a 3/8 to 1/2 in. head. They've held up great with no issues of pulling loose. As far as mounting the seats to the bases I just used 1/4 in nuts and bolts with lock washers.
  17. I appreciate all the responses and info. Tracker here does a phenomenal business. People have been buying boats like crazy since they slacked off on the covid 19 quarantine. The Tracker 175 tf with the 75 hp Merc is more than likely what I'm going to go with. 4 hours for routine maintenance would suck.
  18. All it needs is an avocado green cooler to match.
  19. Hi everyone. I'm trying to make a choice on a new boat and need advice/opinions based on experiences or issues you or someone you know have had. Whatever boat I get will have to be my last for quite awhile and I just would like to know if there's any problems with certain boats or outboards. The closest dealer to me is a Tracker dealership. Crestliner has one about an hour away and G3 almost 4 hours away. The G3 comes with a 115 Yamaha. I've read Yamaha uses or has used nylon gears which has caused motor failure. I know all makes have had their problems and you can get a lemon on any of them, I'm just trying to make a good choice. Thank you for your help.
  20. The Dicks in Tupelo,Ms. has such horrible customer service I quit going to it years ago.
  21. Wear what you like to and be comfortable. It's not what you wear that makes you one of "those guys" it's your attitude..just don't act like one..
  22. Ok..I'll admit it...Sometimes I don't do the smartest thing....sometimes.. Both...
