Never had the need for a trailer hook on a Spinnerbait or buzzbait BUT my fishing partner of over 40 years won't throw either without a trailer hook........go figure.

Got my retired 1st cousin on the boat today and the fish were very active. Hitting crank baits, Spinnerbaits and wacky finesse worms. He hooked the best one in a tree top with a crappie colored Spinnerbait.

Definitely a bluegill. Fish lose coloration when dead and out of water but regardless, that's the physique of a bluegill.

Hey, at 75 and scrambling for mods on a young mans boat, your doing something right ?.

I can easily get on the water before daylight but go to bed before dark. Can't fish from anything other than a bass boat, spoiled. Swim baits hardly ever get thrown from my boat ?. Strength ? Fish 3 days a week and never get burned out and can tolerate moody fishing partners.

You never see a Nick Saben team give up 21 in the 4th ?

I had a 3 for 18 couple years ago but never 5 for 20. Floating our river growing up, 100 fish days were the norm, mostly Smallmouth.

Lions are suppose to be legit but have to go KC. The line is only KC -5 but likely due to the uncertainty of Kelce.

I'm gonna assume my answer may not apply to your boat as transoms vary from boat to boat and the fact that larger engines create more turbulence. But here we go. My transom is 90" wide with a 60hp Merc. The center of transducer mounting blocks are exactly 17" from center of transom and 1 1/2" above bottom of hull.

@Blue Raider Bob I often throw a wacky rig on a 1/16 head, actually preferred in most cases, especially 4.8 flickShake. " lakes " In our river i mainly throw craw imitators on 1/8 - 1/4 oz Shakyhead or Texas. My best Smallmouth producing bait for the last several years has been a Zoom speed craw in green pumpkin magic. Our water is very clear.

Sleeping has never been an issue for me personally, fall asleep in a matter of seconds. The problem began as I got older and started snoring, to the point that the wife couldn't sleep. Got a sleep study done and had mild sleep apnea. CPAP now going on 6 years..... harmony. I also drink a glass of red wine " dry " in the evening, heard that helps with sleeping disorders. hope you get this resolved because lack of proper sleep can bring on all sorts of health issues including weight gain.

We're under a heat advisory here as well, 105* is predicted. Taking a break this week from fishing and will pick it back up next week with much cooler temps forecasted. Glad you made it home safely.

Black/blue finesse worm on 1/8 pegged weight is very productive and on a dropshot " Aaron's magic ". Cola and green pumpkin candy has put the most fish in the boat though. Jigs ? Black/blue always does very well.

I have a bass boat, a bass raider and a fishing kayak to keep from bank fishing. I'm not apposed to bank fishing but none of the lakes I fish cater to it.

Was looking at Vexus bass boats recently and found 2 identical boats except one had a Mercury and the other had a Suzuki, same HP. The Suzuki package was $1000 cheaper.
