Help I submerged my spinning reel!
Casting on a spinning reel doesnt involve mechanical parts. Strip the line and respool, it sounds like a line issue more than anything. Opening up and cleaning/lubricating would be best if youre comfortable enough to do so.

What's more important?
Numbers (of keepers). I wont be satisfied with 100 dinks but im also not going out every outing pursuing only 10lb + bass and being happy catching 1 of those a month.

Careers In The Bass Fishing Industry
Unless youre going into a biology related field, marketing is probably the best thing you can study for a fishing career. Its a fairly universal degree and will be especially useful if you ever try to make a career out of tournament fishing. Outside of that, check the jobs page at your state parks and wildlife department.

Budget baitcast rod? $60 or under (Jigging setup)
Theyre great rods. I picked up an Ethos HD (non-Nanos) with the intention of using it as a jig rod myself but found it a tad on the light side. In my opinion the MH is more of a Light MH. I also feel the regular Ethos HD is a better rod than the Nanos being that it comes with Fuji reelseat/guides.

Similar except what I do different with it is use a different color. If that works then its one more part of the pattern coming together.

Fishing in Recently Refilled Reservoir
^ if youre fishing for numbers, downsize lures and line. Youll catch a lot of dinks but should get some good bites and get a good feel for whats in the water. Also, contrary to popular belief, not all bass like Senkos. The quarry i primarily fish a good example. Maybe try different plastics?

Revo SX spinning reel has the "wobblies"
I don't have any advice but just curious as to whether this was a new reel or the problem developed after time? Only thing i can suggest is to make sure that the washers that ride on the shaft are properly seated.

Good but reasonably priced polarized glasses?
Solarbat, hands down Ive tried the SK glasses and wasnt impressed after having worn Solarbats. https://www.solarbat.com/collections/pros-and-heroes I use brown for driving, mossback for fishing, and soft green for fishing overcast days. Yeah, the styles arent the greatest but I believe these offer the best lenses at the price point.

Any hidden online gems can you recommend?
Amazon. I add stuff to my cart, save for later and periodically check prices. What I'm looking for is anything "Used, Like-New" sold by Amazon. These are new items with damaged packaging. You can get huge discounts on these.

Why are you not using a digital reel?
hey hey hey! this is a fisherman's forum ... no one gets skunked ... ever!

Why are you not using a digital reel?
This thread is the equivalent to "Why don't you drive a Tesla?" 1. Its expensive 2. I don't wanna Not sure what else you were looking for from people but you seem to be looking for reasons to dislike your DC reel. Just fish it and enjoy it. Its not for everyone but it sounds like its for you and thats all that should matter.

I've never had a break off go quite like this. Have you?
I hope you were using Big Game and not Tatsu

^ wrap line twice around hand and give it a firm, even pull or walk it backwards (i usually put my shirt over my hand then wrap the line). If using braid wrap 4 times around pliers or a stick and do the same.

Letting go my pet bass
It isnt about comfort for the fish. The fish is a cold blooded animal so temperatures dont affect comfort. With that said, cold shock doesn't discriminate and will do away with a fish fairly quickly.

Berkley lightning
Yeah these are great rods. Enjoy it!

Letting go my pet bass
My daughters brought a tiny bluegill home once that they caught in a bucket. We dropped it into a small 20 gal tank. The fish did pretty well. He got cichlid food along with meal worms every now and then. The fish grew from about 2" to about 7" or so. I we had him for a total of about 3 years.

Does anyone own a Twin Troller?
Im in the process of looking for a small "truck bed" boat myself and looked at the twin troller only briefly. From a bang for your buck perspective it just didnt make sense to me. Right now my top candidates are Bass Baby Bass hunter Springcreek Prams Duroboat There was a Twin Troller up for sale on my local craiglist and the seller was asking almost full retail. Not sure if that necessarily indicates they hold their value but it didnt seem to have lasted long before the posting was gone.

Berkley lightning
Doesn't look like damage but whats up with that second guide from the top ? Maybe its the camera angle??

Fuego CT or Tatula 100
Unless the Twing is a must, save $40. Don't @ me but IMO this is the best bang for your buck reel since the Shimano E series. It doesn't perform as well, but it also doesn't cost as much. https://www.amazon.com/Daiwa-0001-4485-Fgct100Hsl-Fuego-Speed/dp/B06VWR2168/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=fuego+ct&qid=1591024602&s=sporting-goods&sr=1-3
