These are the oldest I have and are dated Nov of 2008. Was not opened until Fall of 2019 and are annoyingly sticky. They would stick work though and no they have not left any residue on the blade. Some of my trd's have the same stickiness though are only year or 2 old.

I have not been having the best of luck with them either. I am yet to figure out what I've done. I have some as much as 10 years old and perhaps 20 bags bought in the last couple years. My issue is they have become super sticky. The older lures which are Shad that came on a version of the chatterbait are sticky the same as newly purchased bags of trd'so. As I mentioned in a post a month or 2 ago, my lure reeled in coated with pebbles from the creek I was casting in.

I was wondering if anybody here had used the River2Sea whopper plopper buzzbait? It's a floating buzzbait. I found them super cheap a while back like less than $6 shipped for one. I tried it once in April and had some lil bass smack at it but no takers and threw a Senko after the missed bites and caught them that way. But my initial thoughts was it looks good, sounds good and I had bass hitting it in cool temps and I've forgot about til now. Anybody else like it, love it, hate it???

Nice assortment!! What brand popper and frog did you get? I have been learning how to use my lures by reading on here and watching vids on YouTube. If I get to watch fishermen use the lures in addition to written or spoken instruction it helps me the most!

This 5/8oz Jitterbug has size 3 Owner Hyper Wire rings, size 1 Owner short shank PPP hook (STY-35) on the front and a size 2 Owner Stinger (ST-36) on the back. It looks good to me but if going to buy again I'd got the #2 hook in a ST-35. I added a little bend to the side of the lip and will adjust as needed. I never opened the rear eye nor removed any screws and simply cut off the factory hooks.

Back around Christmas a buddy dropped me off a new rod for a present. He dropped it off at my Dads. Of course he didn't make it 10 feet til he slammed the house door on it snapping off 6" of tip. He said he dreaded seeing me that day and threw in his advice to just glue on a new tip lol... Easy come, easy go

Great minds think alike. You know the 5/8 comes with 1/0 hooks. I bought these Owner Stingers in 1/0 but won't work. So are you gonna go as small as 4's? I'm gonna go buy 2 sizes either a 1/0 short shank and a #1 short shank or I may get pack of #1's and 2's owner stingers standard shank.

Did they come 2 or 3 to a pack?

My nephews and I fished little over an hour today and caught nearly 40 bluegill. Sometimes bass ain't even needed. But all you need is Gary Yamamotos help

90% of the time I am fishing creeks. Any Smallmouth over 16" is a trophy and I've never caught one over 21" so anywhere in between there would be "nice" however if I get ahold of Mr Redeye or pumpkinseed I condider that nice as well lol. For largemouth in still water It has to be 3-4 lbs
